Do your job first, then help your buddy. You can't be effective for the Kingdom of God if you are more concerned about what others are doing in the kingdom or trying to help them first in an effort to add to your glory. Minister where God has planted you and work to do what He created you for, then if the Spirit moves you to, help your buddy. This brings about ultimate glory to the Father.

Giving Glory to God... This life is short. This world is not our home. So why would we spend our energy on goals when their impact ends here? Here’s the truth: you will always have an opportunity to take the glory for your own achievements. You will have many chances to make it about you. The success will feel good. It will be easy to delusion yourself to believe that you earned it and that you deserve the credit. But the work you do will also present an opportunity for you to give God glory. Passing the glory will likely be your responsibility. It will require courage and humility, but we must remember that God’s message gets muddied to those around us when we keep the glory for ourselves. The choice we make matters, so before the applause gets enticing, let’s intentionally get ahead of ourselves in every goal we set: When you reach this goal, how will you give God glory? As you work toward the goal, how will you be intentional to ensure that those around you are consistently reminded of Jesus in your pursuit? God, we thank You for Your willingness to use us. We know that our life here is brief and that we were created to bring You glory. We know You’ve given us the assignment to live for You and tell others about You. We beg You – take the glory for everything we do here. Use us, but You stay in the spotlight. We love You. Amen.

5 Ways to Be Happy at Work 1. Work with Purpose • Remember that your work, no matter how small, can glorify God. “Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men” (Colossians 3:23). 2. Cultivate Gratitude • Focus on the blessings in your work rather than the challenges. “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). 3. Show Kindness and Serve Others • Seek to serve your coworkers and customers with a joyful heart. “Through love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13). 4. Seek Peace in Conflicts • Be a peacemaker and handle disagreements with grace. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). 5. Trust God with Your Work • Rest in the knowledge that God sees your efforts and provides what you need. “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established” (Proverbs 16:3).

Conquering Doubt and Temptation: Facing Life's Challenges 1. How do you overcome doubt and temptation, described as the "wild beasts of the soul," when facing new challenges or dangers in your daily life? 2. How can you maintain your focus on God's kingdom when facing fear or uncertainty? No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV

In Matthew 13:45-46, Jesus describes the Kingdom of Heaven as a merchant searching for fine pearls. When he finds one pearl of great value, he sells everything he owns to buy it. This parable emphasizes the incomparable worth of the Kingdom of Heaven and the diligent pursuit it deserves. The Kingdom is so precious that it’s worth giving up everything else to obtain. Recognizing the true value of God’s Kingdom requires us to see beyond the temporary treasures of this world. When we understand the eternal worth of knowing God and living under His rule, our priorities change, and the sacrifices we make in pursuit of His Kingdom bring us joy and fulfillment. Take a moment to reflect on what you are pursuing in life. Do your goals and desires align with seeking God's Kingdom? Are there “pearls” in your life—such as material possessions, status, or personal ambitions—that you are holding onto more tightly than your relationship with God? Consider how you can refocus your priorities to seek what is truly valuable.

Winning The Race This is an encouraging reminder for us believers who have witnessed God's glory through faith and have experienced His abundant success. Despite our hardships, and in the light of God's loving patience, this is a reminder that we should let go of our sins and selfishness, and hold fast as we strive to fulfill the plans God has in store for us. Furthermore, we must run the race with encouragement by: * Look to Jesus and to consider Jesus' suffering and how he endured the cross to complete the work of atonement. * Persevere by following Jesus. Which requires discipline, endurance, and perseverance. * Lay aside sin and to shed our sins and selfishness, and throw off anything that hinders or weighs you down. * We must Live with joy and know that living a life of faith can be joyful, even though it's not always easy. * Hold fast and strive to fulfill God's plans that he has for us.

Check out my blog post https://wix.to/k62AyNb #newblogpost Without self-control, we’re ruled by bad habits that lead to a “spiritual” weight gain only patience and discipline can shed. But what a wonderful God we serve! In His wisdom, He renews us spiritually, physically, and emotionally when we wait on Him. Though this waiting is challenging and tests our patience, it builds trust in the Lord. When it’s over, we emerge with new strength, hope, endurance, and faith to finish the race before us. https://lnkd.in/g5rKf9Nf
