Following this interview, Apple went from losing $1 billion to turning a $309 million profit a year later. "If you do the right things on the top line, the bottom line will follow. What is meant by that is if you get the right strategy, if you have the right people, and if you have the right culture at your company, you'll do the right products, you'll do the right marketing, you'll do the right things logistically and in manufacturing and distribution. And if you do all those things right, the bottom line will follow" - Steve Jobs PS. check out 🔔 for a winning pitch deck the template created by Silicon Valley legend, Peter Thiel https://lnkd.in/ejp-Bhnu

How would that change the way you look at your team, your strategy, and even your entire business model? Does your company value tenure or impact more? I’d love to hear your perspective. 👇

What does it mean to "wear the company’s shirt"? Many business owners and entrepreneurs might wonder, "Why would someone so competent and talented do everything they can to make my company profitable?" That’s right! The passion for an excellent career and outstanding results drives professionals to fully commit to someone else's success. This passion is what it means to "wear the shirt." Look around your company, regardless of the position or role, and you'll see employees sacrificing their personal time to achieve a common goal. Whether in small businesses or global giants, you will find people in the hallways, on the production lines, in the offices—everywhere the company needs to be represented. So, value your colleagues, your competitors, your shareholders, and most importantly, your employees.

Have you read, "Buy Back Your Time" by Dan Martell? It was an eye opener in how I approach my company. It transformed how I structure my hiring process and build the team around me, which has fueled my success in unimaginable ways. Martell's philosophy is simple yet profound: it’s not about working harder or finding more time to do work. Instead, it's about designing your freedom to engage in high-value work that brings energy and fulfillment. #bookrecommendation #businesstip #businessgrowth

Think Different! The commercial that would eventually play a pivotal role in helping Apple achieve one of the greatest corporate turnarounds in business history! Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward. Maybe they have to be crazy. How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written? Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels? We make tools for these kinds of people. While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
