3 Content types you need to build your brand One thing you need to know is that building a strong brand isn’t just about having a logo or a catchy slogan. It’s about creating content that resonates with your audience. Of course, your visual identity is of utmost importance but your content strategy is the nucleus of your branding. What do you want people to say when they think about your brand? How do you want them to feel when they see your brand name? You can create opinions, evoke emotions and frame perspectives in the mind of your audience with the right content. I have been in the marketing industry for a while and these 3 content types have helped me build my brand successfully and position myself as an expert over the last couple of years. 📍 Educational Content: people love learning new things, especially when it helps solve a problem or improve their lives. It could be how-to guides, tips and tricks, or tutorial videos. When you give valuable information, your audience will see you as the go-to person and trust you more. 📍 Engaging Content: this type of content helps you spark conversation and interaction. You can use polls, questions, stories, or even memes that relate to your niche. The goal is to get people talking and sharing their opinions. You could even slide in something controversial once a while. This will not only increase your visibility but help your audience relate with you on a more personal level. 📍 Inspirational Content: We all love a good story. Share your journey, success stories and the challenges you may encounter in your everyday life. Inspirational content shows the human side of your brand and will help you build an emotional connection. This way your audience understands that you can identify with their pains and struggles. Remember! Your brand must keep a consistent language. This could be influenced by the people you are trying to reach or the image you want to portray for your brand. It should be uniform across the platforms you may be represented. Are there any challenges you may be facing while trying to build your brand? Drop them in the comment section so you could pick my brain.

Your content won’t resonate unless you know what you stand for. Without values, it’s just noise—here’s how to create the impact you want 👇🏻 Ask yourself two questions: Q1: What are your core values and beliefs? (What are you for and against?) Q2: How can those values show up in your content? Example I’m for: ➟ Being real and transparent ➟ Substance over shallow clickbait ➟ Continuous learning and growth ➟ Empathy and emotional intelligence ➟ Adding value through quality insights I’m against: ➟ Prioritising vanity metrics over impact ➟ Self-promotion vs. idea promotion ➟ Trolling and needless provocation ➟ Blind conformity and groupthink ➟ Thoughtless DM sales pitches So, I need to: ➟ Express my perspectives respectfully ➟ Challenge assumptions with nuance ➟ Use contrarian opinions as catalysts for constructive conversations When you create from your core values, you build a brand that resonates with like-minded people. Engaging content requires: 1️⃣ Reflecting on your core values 2️⃣ Infusing those values into your content 3️⃣ Providing insightful, nuanced perspectives 4️⃣ Prioritising ideas over self-promotion 5️⃣ Respectfully sharing contrarian views 6️⃣ Engaging meaningfully to spark dialogue Look, I work on all these every day. But what I've learned is that staying true to who you are is the key to attracting the right audience. 𝐏.𝐒. What’s on your 'for & against' list? _________________________ Hi, I'm Lola Follow me for content and copywriting tips. 3 ways I can support you: ➡Done-for-you thought leadership content/personal branding ➡Content consultancy/Power Hour ➡Copywriting Schedule your free call through the link in my featured section.

Title: 2. Crafting Captivating Content: A Guide to Arousing Interest on Websites The importance of clear and concise language cannot be overstated. In an era where information overload is the norm, users appreciate content that is easy to understand and digest. Avoiding jargon, using straightforward language, and breaking down complex concepts into digestible chunks improves readability and encourages users to stay on the page. Additionally, employing a conversational tone fosters a more personal connection, making the content feel like a friendly conversation rather than a formal lecture. Regularly updating content keeps a website dynamic and relevant. Stale and outdated information can drive visitors away, while fresh and current content signals that the website is actively maintained and invested in providing value. This may include timely articles, blog posts, or updates to existing pages to reflect the latest trends, developments, or insights in the respective field. In conclusion, crafting content that arouses interest on websites involves a strategic blend of audience understanding, storytelling, visual appeal, clarity, and timely updates. By focusing on these key elements, websites can not only attract visitors but also cultivate a loyal audience that actively engages with and values the provided content. In the ever-evolving digital landscape, the ability to captivate and maintain interest remains a cornerstone of online success.

Refreshing take on “start with your why” when developing marketing content. Your “why” might factor into a potential client’s decision to invest their time in your content and eventually buy from you or refer you. But it’s rarely their top reason. Stop with the catchphrases and buzzwords. Get back to fundamentals. Develop content that speaks to the wants, needs, desires, pain points, challenges, goals, and self-interest of your ideal client. Most people won’t care about your brand – or your why – until you’ve shown how you can help them. It ain’t rocket science, but it does take discipline to focus on what’s most important to your audience rather than what’s most important to your brand. Because what’s most important to your audience IS what’s most important to your brand. https://lnkd.in/gcnEFCyW? #contentmarketing #why #contentwriter #copywriter #marketing #freelancewriter
