For an archipelagic country like Indonesia, the presence of satellites is always relevant and vital because terrestrial and cellular technology will not be able to meet all national connectivity needs.
The launch of Merah Putih 2 Satellite is part of TelkomGroup's ongoing efforts to provide equitable connectivity access throughout Indonesia. The satellite's position is strategic because it is above the central part of Indonesia with 100% coverage of Indonesia's territory.
Therefore, this satellite is very strategic to encourage the equal distribution of internet connectivity throughout Indonesia, especially the frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) areas.

The State Corporation Roscosmos turned its attention to the "disruptive" space technology in 2017. An industry seminar was held to examine innovative projects.
Astronautics pioneer Georgy Uspensky, deputy head of the complex of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise TsNIIMash, doctor of technical sciences, professor, summed up the results of the seminar:
"The report, in essence, has a lasting significance, poses a very, very serious task for cosmonautics. Indeed, if we solve the problem of stopping cargo [on satellites and on the Moon] without spending reactive force, spending reactive energy, then this, of course, is a serious advance. We will, of course, have big gains in terms of economy and money.
This is a fundamentally completely new approach, a new way of solving the problems of long-distance flights, and perhaps ground problems as well... And therefore it seems to me that this seminar should have a continuation. And this formulation of the task, it seems to me, is extremely important and is really the subject of the organization in which we are present"

My talk, "The Walled Garden Dilemma" will give an overview of my research on ecosystems of messaging apps from the last 8 years and its implications for messaging interoperability and the Digital Markets Act. Really looking forward to discussing this with the community behind The Matrix.org Foundation!
At last, the relationship between blast and brain injuries is getting the attention needed
Blast exposure brain injury - ABC listen

. It is interesting that two small Australian companies independently developed solutions to this problem. INVICTA Prospects Group, developed #BlastBuddy to monitor blast exposure during live training and operations; sort of a dosimeter for blast. My company Layer 3 Services , has produced #ExploSim to enable training and rehearsal in the use of explosives without causing injury or damage. For 15 years we have been working on using RF to emulate blast effects and brought ExploSim to the market three years ago. Both were designed by users who understood the problem and the need. The companies were brought together by the current media attention as there has been no central point of coordination for this critical issue.
Both have had great difficulty getting Defence and police to appreciate the value of these systems. The ability to show blast without causing it and to monitor exposure would seem to be self-evident. Every person exposed to blast should have Blast Buddy and every Bomb Disposal/EOD school, SF breaching school and operational unit should have ExploSim. Why is it so hard to identify and hold the attention of the responsible section/person? #MilitarySafety#BrainHealth#Innovation#DefenseTechDaniel P.Nigel FrenchNigel BuckleyBen PackhamNick Kaldas A.P.M., D.Litt (honoris causa)Natasha FoxEmily HilderKeith Wolahan MPLuke Gosling MPMichael Turner
