If you’ve never failed, you’ve never lived as they say… First of all I’d like to use this opportunity to say thank you, Recently Jiasheng Jiang, Sebastian Aguilar Velasco and I were invited to compete and represent The Manchester Metropolitan University in the Cesim Elite European Qualifier of 2024 ⚔️ A global competition where students pioneer a virtual business in the FMCG market 🚀 While success may not come easily, the not so impractical cliché still stands, and here are the important lessons I’ve learned: ♟️Strategic decision making - Every decision is a calculated step towards achieving an end goal, define this goal and know what your aiming for. Don’t get lost on the way… ⏳Patience - Chasing ‘ideal’ results may prove ineffective in the long run, instead stay consistent and yield organic growth. 📈Small wins - While we didn’t win the tournament, we did have the largest market share compared to other teams and were only unsuccessful as a result of large R&D investments. Thanks to Ashley McCoy and Cesim Business Simulations for allowing us to compete in an Association of MBAs partnered programme and good luck to those still competing 👏 https://lnkd.in/eY6pFiH9

Hi #Connections, While My PhD guide and mentor Dr. Vidya Prakash Hattangadi taught me the VUCA model of Leadership, I came across a new model developed by Jamias Cascio known as the BANI framework. It explains about the transition from VUCA to BANI. VUCA Enviornment V- Volatility U- Uncertainty C- Complexity A- Ambiguity BANI Enviornment B- Brittle A - Anxious N - Nonlinear I - Incomprehensible Vuca teaches how to deal with dynamics, Bani teaches how to deal with chaos and turbulence. This model was developed in 2020 and after that there have been many countries under this enviornment who were not able to cope with the adverse situations. Sri Lanka Pakistan Afghanistan Bangladesh Nepal Myanmar France Brazil United Kingdom Not naming the war struck countries* The recent microsoft outage can be called a BANI event. Does it make VUCA less relevant...NO Now we need two lenses 1 VUCA 2 BANI Now you have to be BANIVUCA Managers or Founders or Ceos or Directors or Students Get set and understand the Bani framework from the creator himself. https://lnkd.in/dMF-kK6U Pranav Indulkar Research Scholar Maratha Mandir's Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies under guidance of Prof Dr Vidya Hattangadi.
