Christmas Parties are about to Start! 🎄🎉 We’re noticing some interesting trends among our customers this year that might inspire what your company plans to do this December. 🎅 Family-Friendly Festivities: Santa visits and family events are very popular. Companies are using it as an opportunity to make it a really inclusive experience for the entire company … and their little ones. This is one where you need to bring in the professionals! 🎊 Winter Parties in January: Many companies are moving their celebrations to January. Some didn’t manage to book their preferred venue on time or in other cases employees returning home for the holiday season would miss the December date. Others have more budget to play with in January so rescheduling can make a lot of makes sense. 👥 Smaller Team Parties: Larger companies are opting for multiple team-focused celebrations instead of one big event. This certainly fosters closer connections and team spirit and might be a better option for some. 🏢 In-Office Parties: The right office celebrations can be just as exciting as an offsite and far more convenient. Companies see the value in saving money while keeping the fun alive! They can bring in the professionals for food, drinks and all sorts of entertainment. If you’re still planning your end-of-year celebrations, why not explore these creative alternatives? At Booka, we make it easy to organise everything from catering, drinks, entertainment & more in just a few clicks. www.teambooka.com Turning Workplaces into Communities 👥 #CorporateEvents #OfficeParties #TeamCelebrations #Familyparty #EventPlanning #Booka

Yes, most people have heard of Secret Santa and White Elephant office parties, but if you haven’t tried the other three extremely fun gift exchange ideas, you’re truly missing out! And if you haven’t even heard of Secret Santa or White Elephant, well, you’ve probably been living under a rock! 🤣 My new favorite party idea out of the five is the Hot Potato Gift Exchange. Why? Because it’s a competitive game with rewards every step of the way! Plus, the winner gets two gifts instead of just one. Try it! It's Fun! Too often, I see medspa owners throwing boring parties for their staff—like a one-hour mini get-together with snacks at the end of the workday, labeling it a "Christmas party." This is when I remind them: Every party is a team-building exercise. If you’re a medspa owner on a budget, don’t worry—your party doesn’t need to be at a fancy restaurant. You can host it in your Medspa or Aesthetic Practice with simple decor and catered food. The focus of your party budget shouldn’t be on the venue but on well-deserved bonuses and rewards, distributed during fun and exciting games. 🙌 Think of these parties as an investment in your most valuable asset: your staff! There’s something magical about playing interactive games and exchanging gifts during the holidays. These moments foster warmth and open communication among coworkers, strengthening bonds beyond the party. And guess what? This often translates to higher revenue for your medspa because a well-connected, cohesive team simply performs better. I’ve seen it happen time and again. So, if you’re considering skipping the holiday party this year, think again! #MedspaDiaries #MedspaMasters #JaneDhillon #Holidays #OfficeHolidayParty #MedicalSpa

As the festive season rolls around, the office Christmas party often brings a mix of excitement and nerves—especially if you’re just starting out in your career. Maybe it’s your first office party, and you’re wondering what to expect or how to navigate it. Over the years, I’ve seen these events turn into fantastic opportunities to connect, celebrate, and make a great impression, so here are a few pointers to help you feel confident and enjoy yourself. The party isn’t just about having fun; it’s a chance to get to know people you don’t work closely with. Step out of your comfort zone, chat with colleagues from other teams, and avoid sticking too closely to your work bestie or the bar. And while a drink or two can help loosen things up, pacing yourself is key. You don’t want to wake up cringing over a tequila-fuelled karaoke performance. Be smart about timing—leave while the party’s still buzzing, not when things start to get messy. If a colleague looks like they might overdo it, having a quiet agreement to look out for each other can save everyone some embarrassment. It’s also worth steering clear of the usual pitfalls: no gossiping, no oversharing, and definitely no confessions of unspoken office crushes. And before you post that “hilarious” photo of your boss dancing with a cocktail umbrella, pause. It might not feel quite so funny on Monday morning... If you notice someone hanging back, invite them into a conversation. It’s a small, thoughtful gesture that can mean a lot, especially if they’re also new. And don’t forget to thank whoever organised the party—it’s a bigger job than it looks. The goal isn’t to be the life of the party, but to be remembered for all the right reasons. Be kind, have fun, and know when to call it a night. That’s how you nail your first office party—and many more to come!

🎄 Being an event planner during the holidays is like being one of Santa’s elves…if the elves had 500 deadlines, 17 different wish lists, and had to make their own eggnog. But hey, this is the season for extra! Extra festive, extra busy, and extra caffeinated. Whether it’s hosting client holiday games, planning team-building events, or figuring out how to keep the dog from eating the tinsel (again), we’re embracing the chaos with candy cane energy. ✨ Holiday Spirit Checklist: ✔️ Deck the halls (or at least clear off your desk). ✔️ Wear the ugliest sweater you can find. Bonus points for lights! ✔️ Keep your calendar full of joy—and maybe some cookies. Running a business during the holidays isn’t always glamorous, but it is rewarding. Watching teams laugh together during our Host Events holiday games or seeing someone rock their pet’s reindeer costume on Zoom? Totally worth it. Here’s to every business owner juggling 12 days of chaos. May your coffee be strong 😉, your deadlines be merry, and your spirit be as bright as Rudolph’s nose! 🎅✨ #FosterConnection #IgniteEngagement #PutTheJingleInYourMingle #EventPlannerLife #HolidayHustle
