Our approach is through community mentoring and case studies rather than social media noise, so it's perfect for introverts too! 2) 👣 Self-paced mentorship - For driven CS beginners that need affordable guidance (at the price of just 2 coffees/month ☕) Even though the programs are for anyone, these issues often disproportionately impact underrepresented communities due to lack of networks, opportunities, mentorship and guidance. I’m really excited (and, to be honest, a bit nervous!) to have just kicked off the 🚀 Women in Leadership Development series 🚀 at E.ON. It’s an amazing feeling to be part of a program designed specifically to help women like me who sometimes feel stuck or unsure of how to take that next step in their careers. I’ve always known I had more to give, but like so many of us, I’ve had moments where I felt held back or didn’t know how to navigate the path forward. I’m so grateful to E.ON for creating this opportunity. The fact that our company is actively working to close the gender pay gap and aiming for 50% women in senior roles by 2025 is so inspiring to me. More than just statistics, it’s about real change - empowering women to rise, be fearless, and lift each other up along the way. What excites me the most is the chance to connect with other women who are also on this journey. I know that being part of a supportive community, sharing our experiences, and learning from one another will be key to my growth. It’s a reminder that we’re all in this together. If you’re someone who feels like there’s more for you out there but you’re not sure how to get there, know this: YOU'RE NOT ALONE. I’m with you, and so are countless other women. MEET THE AMBITIOUS WOMEN OF FRANK // GABRIELLE LAMIRANDE-GAUVIN Hello! I'm Gabrielle Lamirande-Gauvin, and I am the Global Marketing Manager for Infrastructure at Hatch, a global engineering and consulting firm. I always had an interest in science but switched to marketing over 22 years ago. I came back to it full circle now working for more than 12 years in an engineering firm. I love helping my colleagues and friends communicate their innovative ideas and approaches and highlighting how our work benefits the community and creates positive change. I enjoy working with colleagues from around the world, learning about our differences and what we have in common. I like mentoring and coaching young women who want to advance their careers in marketing. In my free time, I am an avid art enthusiast and can often be found attending concerts, dance shows, music festivals, or art exhibitions. WORDS TO LIVE BY // A quote that I like and have repeated many times is from Madonna: "A lot of people are afraid to say what they want. That's why they don't get what they want." It may be a simple quote, but I love it because I have seen how often people (mostly women but not only) hold back from expressing their desires, expectations or achievements. I understand that it's not easy for everyone and situations may vary, but I have learned that just asking, owning your voice, can create many possibilities or influence change. It means overseeing your change, and not acting as a bystander of your own life.   FRANK EXPERIENCE // Frank has been a great experience for me. I have learned to be more intentional in my goals and improved my coaching skills as part of this group. Apex is my second cohort and I value the community of women who have some common interests but also diverse backgrounds and personalities. I learn a lot from their perspectives, stories and strategies. It's nice to discuss the challenges we face and how to achieve our goals and dreams in a supportive environment with like-minded women in leadership positions. There's not enough applause for amazing leadership and how it can make a difference in your career and the trajectory of your career.
