Do you run a daily standup with your sales team? I used to run my standup at 8:05am. It's a 10 minute meeting and it signals to the team "the sales day has started" Every so often, I would get anonymous feedback that 8am is too early to meet. Is 8am too early? If so, what time do you run your daily standup?

Do you have a busy sales season in the year? Are you making the most of it? We are so acclimatized to how we do things every year, that we rarely stop to see if there's a better way. Watch the video! With practice, you could take things even further by cutting the pitch from 45 mins to 20 mins; that's 2x the demos you can be taking per day, per rep!! Let's see how it impacts the pipeline: Rather than 7 demos a day, you can now take 14 demos. If their average deal size is $3k for example, and their close rate is 50% (during busy season), that's $21k a day!! Account for the 3 reps they have, and we are talking $63k! I'll let you work out how this small change, impacts the sales pipeline for a 4 month busy season! It's incredible what a conversation between marketing and sales can accomplish. Take the time to connect with your counterpart and share where you are struggling. You don't always have to have all the answers; it makes you a stronger leader to ask for help.
