Now that's an impressive statistic! Female entrepreneurs ran more successful firms after receiving mentorship from women, compared to a control group that received no mentorship and female entrepreneurs who were mentored by men. At Gobundance Women, we recognize the importance of fostering supportive relationships within the entrepreneurial community to promote growth, resilience, and success. If you want to be aligned with like-minded women who you will meet with weekly or bi-weekly and hold you accountable to your goals, comment JOIN. These past weeks, I attended two amazing networking events for female entrepreneurs. A powerful takeaway was the desire for connection with like-minded women that shone through. It's a reminder that we're not alone on this journey. The IV Conferência Delaz, hosted by Rita Bahuschewskyj Corrêa, reinforced the importance of community and self-confidence. It challenged my view of courage, showing it's not just about individual fierceness, but also a supportive network and a clear vision. A strong support system empowers us to take bold steps. Blaise Hunter ® at the Nanaimo Women's Business Networking Event reminded us of the importance of self-promotion. It's not bragging, but rather a "confident expression of one's value." As women, we're often conditioned to shy away from self-promotion. Let's rewrite that narrative and confidently share our expertise! I do what I can to be in events like these, they offer invaluable connections, inspiration, and a supportive community to help us thrive.
