One of the most fundamental principles in a restaurant is keeping dishware properly organized. When dishes are neatly stacked, the dish team can stay efficient, keeping the line running smoothly. This, in turn, keeps servers turning tables, maximizing throughput, and driving sales and profit. Every aspect of restaurant operations affects more people than you might think — which is why teamwork is so essential. When your team understands the impact they have on each other, they’re more likely to choose a positive one. Now, excuse me while I teach my kids a bit about teamwork and get this cupboard back for the next person to do the dishes!
