Flexspring wins Paylocity® to Microsoft Entra ID® (formerly Azure Active Directory) integration deal. We just won a significant HR data integration deal to connect Paylocity to Microsoft Entra ID for a medical tech company developing minimally invasive treatments for patients with chronic lower back pain. The company’s HR team previously spent days manually transferring data to Microsoft Entra ID. That’s a back-straining activity! Flexspring’s integrations sync data securely between systems, eliminating manual tasks. 🔬 Examine the benefits more closely: 🧍♀️🧍♂️ New Hires and Employee Updates: Bring over new hires and employee updates from Paylocity into Microsoft Entra ID to create employee profiles and manage user permissions based on the company’s assigned rules. When an employee leaves the company, their profile automatically changes to inactive, suspending access to any Entra ID features. ⏱️ Saves Time: By automating data sharing, HR teams can focus on strategic initiatives for business growth. No one joined HR to do manual double-data entry! Do your business processes need an M.O.T? From analytics and storage to networking and CRM, cloud-based computing has been a key component of modern business processes since the early 2000s. And much like when we get in a car and head off fully confident that all is well and operating at maximum capacity, the same applies to business software. Whatever the device, what lies beneath is a robust and agile infrastructure that helps drive most of the decisions we make and the direction we take. We’re not talking sparkplugs or motherboards here of course. It’s a software thing and whether what’s in place is fully supporting an organisation’s operational and strategic needs. When cloud-based platforms are used ‘properly’, meaning at full functionality, they can be transformational whilst providing the flexibility needed to adapt to the inevitability of changing business scenarios. They can reduce costs, boost efficiency and productivity, tighten cyber security, ensure compliance, minimise human errors, foster innovation and streamline inter-departmental and customer-facing comms. And so, the big question is, how do you know? How can you tell if you are using all the bells, whistles, buttons, tabs, forms, tables, ribbons and charts available to satisfy your requirements? This is where HG Technology comes in and is an aspect of our offer we particularly enjoy. You see we are far more than IT people; we get business, understand it, and through an inside-out knowledge of Microsoft’s many cloud-based applications will make sure your platform is delivering optimally on all levels. Your current set-up may well be running well but it could be that a once-over, a bit of fine-tuning and a few adjustments will make it work smarter and even harder for you. If you think your business processes could do with an M.O.T (Maintenance, Overhaul, and Testing) talk to us. We’re confident this one-off review will reap immediate and long-term rewards. #consultancy #microsoft #cloudbased

If you haven't heard of #processmining in #d365 then check out this article by Julian de Bri. Don't fall behind on all the wild stuff that #microsoft is giving us access to! I was able to follow along very easily and start to see how #microsoft is empowering businesses and users to leverage the vast amounts of data at their fingertips. In this case, we see how warehouse managers, supervisors, and other users can understand potential bottlenecks in their work process to drive efficiency in the warehouse.

The new features coming to Dynamics 365 will include several advanced security controls giving system administrators greater visibility and control over their environments. The role audit trail will provide a non-removable history of permission changes, making it easier to track and audit role modifications over time. Security versioning and snapshot capabilities will allow security snapshots at specific points, enabling easy comparison or restoration if needed. The temporary role assignment feature will be invaluable for managing employee absences, allowing roles to be reassigned while maintaining strict control over access. These capabilities will provide peace of mind for business leaders that require agile, yet secure, role management.

As a Digital Solution Consultant, I am passionate about helping organizations harness the power of technology to drive efficiency and compliance. This week, following my post about leveraging the Microsoft PowerPlatform for WareHouse visibility, I had 2 interesting Zoom calls with decision-makers from 2 very different domains - HealthCare and Construction - seeking to know if solutions built on the PowerPlatform can be both robust, safe and regulation-compliant with HIPAA and GDPR respectively, and what it took to make this happen. My discussions with them summarised that as an alternative to an off-the-shelf solution, with the right CoE in place, is feasible to utilize Microsoft PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint Online, and Dataverse to build robust solutions for data-sensitive industries such as healthcare and HR, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and GDPR laws. It is possible to develop a comprehensive Patient Management System (PMS) or HRIS that uses PowerApps for intuitive interfaces, PowerAutomate for seamless workflows, SharePoint Online for document management, and Dataverse for secure data storage. By segmenting data into levels of criticality, critical patient, payment, finance, customer, and employee data such as personal information, etc, can be stored in Dataverse, ensuring it is protected and compliant with HIPAA or GDPR regulations. Assigning unique Patient or Employee/Contractor/Supplier IDs allows for efficient data management and integration across various systems. Microsoft Azure allows the creation of security groups, that users can be placed into depending on the type and level of data criticality they need to be able to access for their day-to-day work. There is no reason enterprises should not derive business benefits from the plethora of process automation solutions out there, especially with the interplay of AI. So go on and get testing! Enjoy the rest of your week! #DigitalTransformation #PowerApps #PowerAutomate #SharePointOnline #Dataverse #HIPAA #GDPR #HealthcareIT #HRTech #DataSecurity #Microsoft #AI
