IT & SERVICE DELIVERY 💻 We often get asks for insight, advice, “how have you handled” type questions, and recommendations in the NOVA Communities. Sometimes the question is outside the expertise of those in that cohort - but fortunately I have a wide network and posting on my feed can reach thousands of people with our question (thank you for when you like - it makes such a difference) 🙏🏻 Yesterday however I was able to direct some of the recent questions about Service Delivery & Vendor Strategic Partnerships to a good contact of mine, Richard Baxter. Giving up his time over coffee (thank you!) to give me some of his thoughts to share back with the group. Richard helped bring a professional service delivery set up into a business we were in, which is essential when you have operations that are outside of standard hours, and the tech is essential to both a) sell your product and b) get it to the customer! Oversight and working together with your IT providers is key, and he set up great regularly cadence of meetings for review as well as clear lines of escalation or information flow. Sharing our strategy and hearing about their roadmap to ensure we were always thinking further ahead.
