Looking forward to reading The Trading Game by Gary Stevenson, Steve Dennis, I'm wondering if you connect the modern "rise of inequality" which Gary talks about extensively, with the reason discount and luxury retailers will remain the safest in brick-and-mortar retail? Gary expects consumer price inflation to rise slowly (2% a year) but asset prices to rise quickly over the next 5 years (15-25%), making an even bigger wealthy v average person divide, I don't know if you know Gary's writing on economics, but I think you should definitely try and get him for an interview and talk about what it means for the future of retail.
