Behold the killer asset! Marketing departments can spend 10s to 100s of thousands of dollars on killer assets (like benchmark and other data-driven reports) they think merit significant press coverage. And in many instances they don't loop in PR until the assets are in draft or near-final form, which ain't the best approach. Loop us in at the onset, as we have a pretty good idea of what will resonate with press, and we can also more effectively set expectations before fingers start pointing. And the best killer assets, those with compelling content, don't always generate immediate or near-immediate coverage...sometimes it's months later. If they're killer, they should have a long shelf life, one to which PR people can regularly return. #PR #publicrelations #content
