Festival Director/CEO at Wimbledon BookFest

So pleased to be part of this important event. When I set up Wimbledon BookFest with Tony Kane 18 years ago we had no real sense of the super power it would have in developing the town's cultural landscape. It's something I've learnt from experience and am deeply committed to. London Borough of Merton University of Roehampton #creativeindustries #regeneration #culture #festivals #wimbledon

📢 Delighted to welcome Fiona Razvi, Festival Director and co-founder of Wimbledon BookFest, to our conference programme! A strong advocate for the cultural sector and the value it brings to individuals, communities and the local economy, Fiona was a local journalist prior to setting up Wimbledon BookFest - widely recognised as London's leading Literature Festival. She has witnessed firsthand the benefits festivals can bring by producing hubs of creative activity – with the public, private and voluntary sectors working together, generating both economic benefits and creating happiness and wellbeing. Hear from Fiona at the Evolving Wimbledon Development Conference on 1 October and get the latest intel on Wimbledon's culture and visitor economy.
