One of the most childish and immature things I witnessed so far in my career is a data professional claiming his role is superior to other data professionals. For instance, A Data Scientist claiming he is superior to a Data Engineer, A Data Engineering claiming his role is superior to a Data Analyst and most of these contrast are created by those professionals who are in the early stage of their career. Each job role is different and there aren't any parameters based on which one can claim superiority over others. I believe there's a reason why these roles exist separately. ➡️ If one role is more into technicality, the other understands the businesses. ➡️ If one focuses on understanding the APIs, the other is the master of analyzing the KPIs. Comparing both these roles are just like comparing lungs and hearts to tell which one is superior over the other. Doesn't make any sense. Is it a senior only job market? ... Unfortunately, according to job postings, it appears so. It looks like your best option if you are trying to break into Data and AI is to try to become a Data Analyst or a Data Engineer. From my experience, Data Engineers tend to have an easier time transitioning to other roles and are paid better on average. What do you think about these findings?

Data Scientists don't need reliable data, right? 🤦♀🤦♀ I spoke to several data scientists in the last few weeks in this exact same scenario. They were looking to leave their company because despite what was promised in the interview, they just weren't set up properly.
