Congratulations to our Isomorphic Labs collaborator Demis Hassabis, along with John Jumper and David Baker, on being awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their computational approaches to protein prediction and design. I’m optimistic about the potential of these powerful tools to transform biomedicine, and I’m as excited as ever to see where this brilliant work might lead as we explore AI-driven drug discovery with Demis and his wonderful team.

We are delighted to share the breaking news that our CEO and founder Demis Hassabis and Google DeepMind colleague John Jumper have been awarded the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their groundbreaking work creating AlphaFold, along with David Baker for computational protein design. The AlphaFold solution to protein folding was a proof point that AI could be applied to real-world problems and inspired the founding of Isomorphic Labs with a distinct focus on the application of AI to drug discovery. Congratulations to all of this year’s Nobel Laureates!

Thanks for accentuating this tremendous discovery, FIona. Your sentiment about future transformative impact of these tools is shared by the overwhelming majority of biomedicine. One can see the arc the Nobel committee is erecting from yesterday's "Physics" prize - which at its heart is computer science - to today...
