Our CEO, Elvin Guri, recently appeared on Капитал’s new podcast “From Zero to Unicorn”, which delves into the journey of successful startups from conception to product launch. Elvin’s discussion with Mary Ivanova focused specifically on strategies for startups (and not only startups) to achieve sustainable growth. Several key insights emerged from their conversation, which hold significance for both founders and investors. Those insights represent active practices ingrained in our daily operations at INVENIO Partners. Founders should prioritize the kind of funding that gives them a longer runway, not the one that dilutes them the least. Seeking funding without a clear plan for its allocation is a losing proposition. However competent the investors, it should not be their job to drive a company’s development. Their job is to figure out (1) whether they understand and like the vision of the founders/management team; and (2) whether they think they can contribute to the future of the business. The biggest mistake investors can make is to put themselves in the shoes of the founder/owner and think “what would I do if I was running this business?” Effective middle management is particularly critical to a company’s sustainable growth, requiring capable individuals to oversee internal processes. Successful growth hinges on having the right people in the right place at the right time, implementing the right processes in the right way. To achieve sustainable growth, founders must adopt the mindset of managing their company as if they never intend to sell it. This approach fosters long-term viability. #discovervalue

Entlaq’s co-founders Interview with Lamis EL Hadidi on “ON TV”. The main aim of this interview was to tackle the obstacles and potential of the Egyptian Ecosystem, while discussing Entlaq’s mission to leave an impact on the ecosystem’s growth. Mohamed Ehab Hafez, Co-founder and CEO of Entlaq, discussed Entlaq’s Triple -I- Vision towards a more innovative, inclusive and impactful ecosystem, and how Entlaq is focusing on Catalyzing Egypt’s position as the region’s innovative hub. Ehab also mentioned, how Entlaq invest in startups based on their impact on the ecosystem by increasing job opportunities and providing solutions to major problems in Egypt. Ayah M.Ismail, our Co-founder and Accelerator Director, explained the selection criteria of Entlaq’s accelerator program and the 6 month journey our start-ups experience leading to the showcase. she also addressed the importance of individual team members drawing on their experience and how the startup growth depends on this aspect. Omar Rezk, Our Co-founder and Managing Director of consulting and strategy, highlighted the challenges the Egyptian Entrepreneurship ecosystem faces and how Entlaq is working on providing policy recommendations and delivering capacity building programs to foster the ecosystem's growth.
