Good mental health in childhood significantly reduces the risk of mental health issues in adulthood, with those who are fortunate enough to have positive childhood experiences 72% less likely to experience depression or poor mental health days as adults. And according to the National Child Development Study (NCDS), a longitudinal study that follows people born in the UK in 1958, children with better mental health at age seven were significantly more likely to experience higher income levels and better employment outcomes in adulthood. This demonstrates that good childhood mental health is a strong predictor of financial stability and success in later life, suggesting that addressing mental health early on has long-term benefits not only for emotional well-being but also for financial well-being in adulthood. As such, on #WorldMentalHealthDay we are thrilled to share that THE WORRY WIZARD LIMITED has launched 👉 Active-8 Your Wellbeing 👈 for children and their key grownups to use at home or on the go.  Created by the Amy Smythe, founder of The Worry Wizard® and a proud MWOTY AWARDS - Omnia Feminae Aequissimae (Women are equal to everything) winner, this treasure trove of therapeutic activities aims to nurture emotional resilience and wellbeing. 🌈 The downloadable resource is available to "help children transition from worries to wellbeing" and includes 8 imaginative therapeutic activities which support the development of: 🤟 Shared Language - to make conversations about worries and wellbeing easier. 🧡 Emotional Literacy - to help children understand and express their emotions. 📿 Worry Management Tools - to provide practical ways to manage anxiety. 🪞 Positive Self-Image - to build confidence and resilience. 💪 Emotional Resilience - to strengthen the ability to bounce back from challenges. 👌 Wellbeing Qualities - to encourages the development of overall wellbeing.
