Are you celebrating your success? Over the weekend, I found a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Champagne hiding in the back of a kitchen cupboard. I stared at it and thought, “Why are you still here… and how long have you been sitting there?” I of course recognised it immediately - it was a thoughtful gift from a friend and colleague to celebrate the end of a role. So why hadn’t I opened it? I realised I’d been saving it for some perfect moment. I’d told myself, “This champagne deserves a special occasion - it’s too good for fish and chips on a Friday night!” Then life got busy, and I forgot about it entirely. 🤦♀️ I’d missed the point! It wasn’t about saving the champagne for a perfect moment. It was about celebrating success and the gratitude of friendship. The moral of the story? Don’t wait for the perfect moment to celebrate - big wins, little wins, and everything in between. The perfect moment is now. As the year comes to an end, what are you celebrating? And how? Crack open the fizz, or just take a moment for yourself - you’ve earned it, and it will make you feel better! 💃🥂✨ Do you struggle to celebrate your successes? I could have written this exact post Ffion. I’ve had the same bottle of LP Cuvée Rosé champagne chilling in the fridge for 18 months! A gift from a client when we completed a campaign which I’ve been saving for a worthy celebration! I’m using your timely reminder to drink the bubbles; use the crystal; wear the sparkles and celebrate the wins as they happen - and not to wait for the next time! 💫
So true Ffion. I have champagne still from my 50th, waiting for a special occasion. Should just crack it open! Wouldn't want it to go off 😉

2dEnjoy Ffion 🥂 💫 This also makes me think of clothes I used to keep "for best" because as a child I had special dresses and things that were only to be worn for special occasions, as I grew older I realised that if I didn't simply wear and enjoy things, then they went out of style or I changed how I felt about them and they no longer appealed to me... so now I wear what I feel good in and don't keep things "for best" anymore!
