I turned 1 week of work into recurring business Most businesses think it takes months of hard work to secure recurring clients. I disagree. If you can provide value and stay dedicated, you can turn just one week of work into a recurring client. Here’s how I did it: 1. It was a week-long assignment, but I gave it my all. I delivered 100% effort, communicated clearly, and over-delivered at every step. Yes, I delivered more than promised. This showed that I wasn’t just in it for the money—I genuinely cared about the company’s success. 2. I made sure to show them real value right from the start. When clients see quick, tangible results, it builds trust. My focus was on delivering quality results so the client never felt cheated or unsure about my work. 3. Instead of just completing the project and moving on, I went a step further. I shared ideas on how we could continue working together and grow their business. Don’t hesitate to share your thoughts—clients appreciate fresh ideas and new perspectives. 4. I followed up regularly, kept communication lines open, and made it clear that I was there to support their long-term goals. I positioned myself as a solution to their problems with honesty, credibility, and clear communication. The result? One week of work turned into a steady, recurring business stream. It wasn’t luck. It was about focusing on relationships, delivering value, and showing dedication. So, Don’t just aim to complete the work—focus on building long-term relationships. What’s your way of turning short-term work into long-term success?

"We JUST need more leads" - Every business owner ever. 😤 Ironically, usually this is not the case. Instead, most businesses need to do a much better job of serving the leads they already are getting (i.e. working hard and paying big money for). As a CFO Advisor, I help my clients create consistent, positive cash flow. One part of that equation is looking at what drives revenue. Yes, more leads will lead to more revenue...99% of the time. However, if most businesses got more out every lead they are already getting, they would be wayyy more profitable. How can this be done? Look at all the ways leads aren't turning into paying clients: ✅ Call Booking Rate ✅ Form Booking Rate (i.e. how many form fills actually get scheduled) ✅ Cancellation / No Show Rate (i.e. how many times do clients cancel or no show on you) ✅ Sales Conversion Rate ✅ Inside Sales Recovery (i.e. rehash) These are just five ways you can put money directly to your bottom line BEFORE they are paying clients. Once they are paying clients, you have their attention and you can turn them into evangelist for your business (we'll save this part for another day). The key? You need to be tracking all of these KPI's...otherwise, you don't know where the biggest hole in your bucket is. 💧

Want to know why most business owners struggle to write good copy? It's because it's YOUR business. YOUR offer. YOUR services. I'm working on a new offer right now and as I'm working on the draft sales page, I know what needs to be said but momentarily I got caught in a typical trap... I started listing out all the logistics about HOW it is going to work. You know, the things that are important to me. How am I going to deliver the offer. But my clients don't really care about that. They want to know what they are going to GET. How is the offer going to transform their life? Or their business? What is the VALUE to them? Sure, the delivery logistics are important at some point but the VALUE needs to be front & center. If no one believes the value, they won't care about the delivery. If you've ever gotten caught in that same trap, you may be interested in what I'm working on... reach out if you want more details before I share them publicly.

100k per month vs 100k per month in recurring revenue: There's a big difference between someone doing 100k per-month in revenueand someone doing 100k per-month in recurring revenue. When sometime tells me they sell high ticket and do 100k per month, I immediately know they are stressed. I've noticed a lot of people, once they hit 30, 40, 50k per-month start to experience fatigue. And that only doubles as you grow your business further. The average 30k-100k per month business is built on the back of heavy front end product sales. High ticket coaching, consulting, packaging. High expenses. These businesses lack predictability. They lack security. You never know if your expenses are covered every month, because you need to hunt for new high ticket deals each month. It's the opposite of freedom, and an enjoyable business to run. Installing recurring revenue into your business solves that. And the shift to a recurring model, or even adding a recurring element to your business, doesn't need to be a big one. You can go from a 100k per month profit business to a 100k per month recurring revenue business, with a few tweaks. But recurring revenue is only possible if a) you have an offer that makes sense, b) your clients love your service, and c) your process is proven, and repeatable. Working on the quality of your service, and experience can give you the flexibility and credentials to add a recurring offer, and keep clients you love for years, not months. *** PS: I help clients keep their clients longer | Want to add 100k per month in monthly recurring revenue, double the lifetime value of your clients, and do it all while working under 10 hours per week?
