It was the year 2012 when I read for the first time about "DevOps", and I did it through an article on devmio blog (formerly jaxenter.com), when "DevOps" wasn't even a word in my context. The updated and curated content about this topic and many others, such as architecture, agile, and Java, amazed me then and, through the years, became a pillar in my technical and not-so-technical learning path (even to the point of using it as a source of case studies in my classes). Eventually, I became aware of these JAX conferences happening worldwide and dreamed of the day I could assist one. This year at JAX New York, that finally became true, and I have nothing to say but how pleased and satisfied I am with what happened the last couple of days. I had the chance to learn about these exciting topics to keep digging into: #SociotechnicalSystems #GreenCode #Observability 2.0 #Resilience #EvolutionaryArchitectures #DistributedTeams And to interact and meet new colleagues and community fellows: Diana Montalion Madi Simcock-Brown Dave Moore Eduardo Calabria Mike Amundsen Dino Esposito Joaquin V. Luis Daniel Rodriguez (A great surprise to find a compatriot who, like some others, is making a significant impact in the US) Everett Pompeii Ahmed Bebars Nikhil Barthwal Thank you for your inspiring openness and willingness to share your knowledge and experiences. Finally, thanks to Sebastian Souza Tarnowski and Galileo Financial Technologies - Latin America, for making all this easier.
It was great meeting you! Stay in touch!
