Lead by example. People follow leaders who are enthusiastic about their ideas, and are passionate about their work, and the people they work with. Actions speak much louder than words. We may tell others, especially our kids that they should do as we say, and not as we do. That rarely works. The 🍎 generally does not fall far from the 🌳. So mind your actions. They become habits. Habits become attitudes. Attitudes influence character!!! Your success and failure will be determined by each successive action you take today and in the days to come. Think before you act. This makes me think about the difference between being an influencer or being famous. For many, both are synonyms these days. I encourage us all to become a positive influence in people’s lives, regardless of how famous or well-known we are. How can we become a positive influence? Living by the fruits of the Holy Spirit is the immediate answer for me - which stems from the immense love and respect I have for my saviour, Jesus. It’s about becoming more like Him in my everyday life. I’m convinced that deciding to live each day authentically treating others with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, being generous, faithful and controlling ourselves can only bring about positive interactions and build strong relationships - those that will make people remember you and look up to you as a positive influence in their life. One doesn’t become a positive influence by telling others to be the best version of themselves. One becomes a positive influence by living out the best version of oneself, with a lot of help from above. #servantleadership #lifecoach #motivation #positivity #leadershipgoals
