Partnership Lead at Wairarapa Catchment Collective

We are starting to produce these 3D printed catchment models for our Wairarapa Catchment Collective Inc catchment groups, and I think one of the reasons they are such compelling little artefacts is they are essentially a 2D topo map, brought to life. They are a lot of fun to hold and interact with. Huge thanks to Isaac Bain for getting us underway!

Have you considered offering those to the RNZFB? Tactile representation of maps is a great accessibility feature

I can see why this went down so well, it seems to scratch a little part of our brain getting to hold something that is actually really big in our hands. I too, would love something like this!

These would make amazing tools for schools; to see the land around them. And Christmas gifts!
