Turning Frustration Into Celebration: A Lesson in Boundaries and Joy Sometimes, life throws you a curveball, like checking into the most disgusting Airbnb ever. Yep, it happened to us yesterday here in London. But instead of diving headfirst into frustration and anger, my husband and I chose to celebrate the situation instead. I always say, “I don’t just set boundaries, “I AM THE BOUNDARY.” So, naturally, I didn’t just accept the situation. I insisted that they change our apartment, and while they agreed, we won’t know the outcome for the next couple of days. With nothing more we could do tonight, we had two choices: let the frustration ruin our evening or turn it into something beautiful. We chose the latter. We went to a lovely Italian restaurant, laughed, joked, and celebrated our ability to adapt, love, and find joy in messy situations. The result? It was a fantastic evening filled with love and connection. It reminded us that sometimes, the best moments come when you let go of what you can’t control and focus on what you can. So here’s the spiritual truth we lived tonight: Every moment is an opportunity to choose how we respond. By shifting our energy, we didn’t just salvage the evening. We transformed it. And that, my friends, is a celebration worth having. Enjoy your blessings🙏💝 #lettinggo #choosehappiness #choosepeace #gratitudehelps

🌅 Sunset Diaries at Dumas Beach 🌊✨ As the sun dipped below the horizon at Dumas Beach, I couldn’t help but stand in awe of nature’s masterpiece. The sky was painted in shades of gold, orange, and crimson, casting a mesmerizing reflection over the gentle waves. 🌞🌊 In that peaceful moment, I realized how sunsets teach us some of life’s greatest lessons: 🌄 Every ending has its own beauty. Just as the day gracefully bids goodbye, we should embrace change with positivity. 💭 Moments of stillness are powerful. In our busy lives, it’s essential to pause, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves. 🌟 A new day is always waiting. After the darkest nights come the brightest mornings. The cool sea breeze, the rhythmic sound of the waves, and the tranquil ambiance of Dumas Beach made it an experience worth cherishing forever. It reminded me of the importance of mindfulness and how nature has its own way of healing our souls. 💕 📌 Why I Love Dumas Beach: 1️⃣ It’s not just a destination but a feeling—a place to let go of stress and immerse yourself in serenity. 2️⃣ The vibrant culture and energy around the beach add a unique charm to the experience. 3️⃣ Watching the sun sink into the Arabian Sea feels like the world is giving you a gentle hug. I believe sunsets are not just endings; they are promises of hope, new beginnings, and better days. 🌅💫 💬 What’s your favorite beach or sunset experience? Let me know in the comments below! Let’s celebrate the little moments that make life extraordinary. 🌈 #SunsetGoals #DumasBeachMagic #NatureLovers #GoldenHourMoments #InspirationFromNature #PeacefulEscape

Some rooms are not meant for you.... or as Keith Lee said some roses aren't yours. Either not yours or not your time. We need to have a spirit of discernment....knowing when to not force or beg yourself to fit into a space. Or even to not accept walking into a room that was only created to distract and confuse you. How to distinguish? How to know? I can't give you a guideline because there isn't one. But I know, for me, staying connected to God helps, having a community or advisor helps. I've gotten myself into spaces, pursued "goals" and connected myself with people my little black butt shouldn't have even entertained and I'm thankful I got out of those rooms, those seats, with a bagful of "lessons learnt".....Money lost, time wasted but a wealth of experience to help me guide the next person who I may come across. But then there were rooms I was scared to enter, that I entered after warring with myself that was TRANSFORMATIVE. Rooms I was nowhere the smartness persons or thought I was not worthy of or had nothing to contribute to. Those rooms...oh my...life changing. Pause and evaluate before jumping....and if you are already in that space, don't be afraid to disrupt your whole self to get where you need to go. To get out and transform. To get into rooms that you need to be in. You have the strength...believe that God will guide you. Anyone else here a fan of night walks? There's just something so special about stepping out under the stars, right? Whether it's the calmness, the fresh nighttime air, or simply the chance to unwind, I find night walks incredibly rejuvenating. I particularly enjoy how the city transforms at night, with all the lights and the peacefulness. It's a lovely way to wrap up a busy day. Do any of you share this love for night walks? Paradise - where does it really exist? Imagine sitting on a stunning beach in the Caribbean, with the perfect view, warm sun, and gentle waves. But your mind is preoccupied, annoyed with the hotel’s imperfections, feeling uncomfortable from the sand, or angry from a breakfast quarrel or a text message you did or did not receive. Are you truly in paradise? Now picture being at home, maybe in your backyard, watching fall leaves drift, appreciating their beauty, feeling content. That sense of peace - doesn’t that feel like paradise? But what if, instead, you’re in that same backyard surrounded by colourful leaves, yet wishing you were on a beach in the Caribbean? Caught in a longing for somewhere else, are you missing the paradise around you? Is it possible someone in the Caribbean perceives your backyard to be paradise or vice versa? It is. So, is paradise a place or a state of mind? I guess you can argue it’s a combination of things and preferences, yet it always comes down to where our mind allows us to go. Does’t it? Two people can be in the same place- one longing for somewhere or someone else, the other just in feeling of peace and gratitude. Both are in paradise but only one is truly experiencing it. Is paradise simply anywhere minus the thought that’s it’s better somewhere else? When you are in the present moment out of thought, where ever you are, you are actually in God’s given paradise. The mind thinks that only after a bunch of criteria is met you can feel paradise but in reality, you are already in paradise until your mind thinks you out of it. A good example of this is I remember being a kid blowing soap bubbles it the yard with dish soap and a bubble blower I made with a garbage bag tie wrap. I can still vividly picture the slow motion magic of those bubbles floating in the breeze under the warm sun. I didn’t have a word for “paradise” bc I didn’t need a word, it was beyond words. And although a lot of challenging things took place in my childhood, in those moments in the backyard, those other things didn’t exist because they were not on my mind. Nothing was… I was just an instance of the present moment, in paradise. #paradise #presentmoment #reflection #threeprinciples #lifecoaching

Getting curious and get reflective.
Founder/CEO at N2ITIV LLC | Empowering Leaders to intentionally Think, tenaciously Plan and boldly Execute on their goals.
"Beyond the endless freaking hills, the Camino reveals a deeper self discovery. Each traveler seeks something—peace, clarity, growth or something else entirely. You can recognize the moments of ah-ha and you understand on a level never experienced before. Each day offers a challenge (or challenges) and it also provides gifts: a smile of accomplishment after a challenging descent, a drink to quench the thirst after long miles, the sound of a church bell, indicating your are close to town. This is the give and take of “The Way”. Some arrive into town weary, others still humming a tune, but all come together to share a meal, a story, a laugh, then go to rest, preparing to begin again the next day. And this… this is the conversation of “The Way." #EmbraceTheJourney #StrengthInEveryStep #StrengthInNumbers #N2ITIV

What Does Peace Look Like to You? I have been spending two peaceful days in Hubali, looking at this beautiful view. The calm waters, swaying coconut trees, gentle breeze, and light morning showers make it a perfect place to relax and reflect. In our busy lives, it's easy to forget the small moments that bring us true happiness. Peace isn't just about having no conflicts; it's about finding balance within ourselves and our surroundings. It's about appreciating everyday beauty and recognising the abundance we already have. I'm reminded that peace is a daily choice. It's in the quiet moments, the practice of gratitude, and the connections we make with others. Abundance isn't about how much we own but about the richness of our experiences and relationships. As I enjoy this view, I'm inspired to bring more peace and abundance into my life. Whether it's through a mindful walk, spending quality time with loved ones, or taking a few moments to breathe deeply, there are many ways to invite calm into our lives. 👉 How are you bringing peace and abundance into your life?
