𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆: 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝐁𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐚, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐖𝐍𝐖 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 The future of Indian Bridal Couture is evolving, yet its heart remains in tradition. As the Director of WNW, a house of bespoke bridal craftsmanship for over 25 years, we have seen firsthand how the art of handcrafted fashion is gaining momentum, even in a digital age. 𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 Today’s brides are seeking more than just an outfit—they want a story, an experience. Handcrafted bridal couture offers a deep connection to tradition, with each garment telling a tale of love, heritage, and artistry. At WNW, we pride ourselves on these stories, from the intricate embroidery to the cherished "Mother’s First Stitch" ritual, where a bride’s mother sews the first thread, embedding emotions that machines simply cannot replicate. 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 While tradition anchors us, technology allows us to push boundaries. The future of bridal couture lies in personalization. Tools like 3D imaging and sketching help brides visualize their lehenga before it’s even made, ensuring every piece is uniquely theirs. WNW blends this innovation with the irreplaceable human touch of our artisans, combining the best of both worlds. In the age of globalisation, we are now able to embrace motifs from other cultures and re-create them innovatively in our own Indian sentiments. 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 As sustainability becomes more important, the demand for slow fashion grows. Brides want to know their outfits are ethically made, and our handcrafted, made-to-order lehengas reflect this shift. Moreover, Indian bridal couture is going global. Brides from around the world are turning to India for authentic, handcrafted wear, making it clear that Indian artistry is transcending borders. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 In a time where fast fashion reigns, handcrafted couture stands as a beacon of authenticity. Every piece made by hand holds a soul that machine-made garments simply cannot replicate. It is this human connection—this tradition—that will keep handcrafted fashion relevant, no matter how much the world changes. At WNW, we are committed to preserving these traditions while embracing the innovations that help us serve brides across the globe. As we look to the future, we know one thing will remain constant: the art of handcrafting and the stories behind each piece will always be at the heart of bridal couture. #WNWbyHarshandAnkesh #IndianBridalCouture #HandCraftedFashion #LuxuryBridalWear #BridalCouture #Sustainable Fashion #GlobalBrides #TraditionMeetsInnovation #SlowFashion #BespokeBridal #WeddingWear #ArtisanCrafted #HeritageCouture #GlobalFashion #LuxuryDesign #BridalElegance

Attention to little and major details produces masterpiece....Creating a garment is liking Creating a lifeless being........ I'm passionate about fashion designing
Nicole Kidman’s Balenciaga look at the 2024 Met Gala. For the 2024 Met Gala, brand ambassador actress Nicole Kidman wore a custom Balenciaga gown that directly referenced a Couture piece designed and created by Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1951. The original piece was immortalized by Richard Avedon on Dorian Leigh in April of that year, for Harper’s Bazaar. This dress is made of a white double silk satin bustier with a tail, and is worn over a long, flared skirt with hand-frayed organza and feather-like embroidery. The dress was replicated from an original Cristobal Balenciaga sketch. The final garment differs slightly from the original idea, in that the front of the skirt is a perfect ellipse and not an indented curve. This unique piece took about 400 hours to create. It involved intricate hand-detailing in collaboration with Amal Embroideries on approximately 3,000 petals made from 150 meters of fabric. The embroidery was studied to replicate the vivid movement captured in the Avedon photograph. Inspired by his Spanish heritage, Cristóbal Balenciaga reinterpreted a flamenco dancer’s full, flounced dress. In his version, black organza petals cascade down the front of the skirt, softly framed by the cutaway of a removable white cotton overdress. This stunning modernization of an iconic design embodies the timelessness of the House’s Couture heritage, founded by M. Balenciaga and evolved today by Demna.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐭 𝐒𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠? Haute couture is not just fashion. It’s a compelling attraction, a powerful statement of status and identity. The challenge is that many dismiss it as mere extravagance without understanding its deeper appeal. 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 Haute couture offers an unmatched sense of exclusivity. Each piece is unique, handcrafted, and tailored to perfection, giving wearers the feeling of belonging to an elite group. 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 The craftsmanship in haute couture is exceptional. Designers invest countless hours into every detail, turning clothing into wearable art. This artistry appeals to those who value tradition and innovation. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥 Wearing haute couture is a clear symbol of wealth and social status. It’s not just about the clothes; it’s about showcasing the ability to afford the extraordinary, making it a powerful tool for asserting one's place in society. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 For some, haute couture is a means of self-expression. These garments reflect the wearer’s unique style, offering a deeply personal connection that mass-produced fashion cannot provide. 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Haute couture often sets trends that influence mainstream fashion. Being part of this influential circle appeals to those who want to be at the cutting edge of fashion culture. In summary, haute couture attracts through its exclusivity, artistry, symbolism of status, personal expression, and cultural influence. This makes it more than just fashion, but a profound statement of personal identity. #Hautecouture #Luxuryfashion #Luxurylifestyle

ANALYSIS: Historically fashion has always thrived on revivalism, nostalgic inspirations and resurgence of specific trends every two decade, a concept called the “20-Year Rule”. Legacy fashion houses such as CHANEL, Saint Laurent and Christian Dior Couture, regularly dive into their own archives, exhuming old motifs, silhouettes and prints, and repurposing them into new collections. We find out the underlying reasons behind this and the incontestable significance of archival fashion. #fashionbusiness #archives #fashiontrends By Niyoshi Shah
