GPS Dental recently announced that the following eight dental practices across five states have affiliated with the U.S. dental support organization (DSO): 🟢 Chapel Hill Dental Arts (Red Bank, NJ) 🟢 Sound Dentistry (New Bedford, MA) 🟢 Easton Dental Specialists (South Easton, MA) 🟢 Barnstable Dental Associates (Hyannis, MA) 🟢 Alex Bell Dental (Centerville, OH) 🟢 Dallas Laser Dentistry (Dallas, TX) 🟢 Toothbar (Austin, TX) 🟢 Koczarski Family & Aesthetic Dentistry (Woodinville, WA) Founded in 2015, Guided Practice Solutions (GPS) now has a total of 97 affiliated practices across 25 U.S. states. GPS Dental's original plan was to have 75 affiliated practices by the end of the first quarter of 2024. It surpassed that goal by adding two additional locations for a total of 77 dental practices. Its next milestone will be 100 practices, which the DSO aims to complete by the end of 2024. GPS Dental was founded with one goal in mind: to assist with the smooth transition of dental practice ownership. As dentists themselves and co-CEOs of the company, Dr. Hunter Smith and Dr. Will Little understand the day-to-day responsibilities of running a dental office and what dental professionals need from a DSO. The two co-founders strive to provide clinical autonomy for providers to improve each practice's systems and help dentists provide enhanced experiences for their patients. GPS Dental has over 225 dentists, 99 partners and more than 1,650 team members across its network. Back in December 2021, the company announced that it had received a strategic growth investment from Main Post Partners, a leading private equity investment firm with deep experience partnering with multi-location consumer service platforms. As of December 31, 2023, Main Post Partners had approximately $3.7 billion of assets under management. At the time of the growth investment in 2021, GPS Dental supported 23 dental practices across Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Indiana, Texas, and Kansas.
