For years I've been contemplating how to improve navigation for cancer patients in order to unblock people from the barriers they face in achieving care. Now I'm thrilled to have started as Strategic Oncology Advisor at We Are Here, which uses an AI-driven platform to preemptively address the life challenges of cancer patients. The platform has supported 1,000+ cancer patients with an 86% one year retention rate. Tailored support increases drug access and adherence, reduces clinical trial dropouts, and reduces surgery cancellations; driving significant healthcare revenue. Simultaneously, earlier access to care and adherence support improves outcomes and lowers cost of care. Despite 650,000+ cancer products, community resources and non-profits, 74% of adults with cancer skip or delay care, 37% can't afford their medication, and 71% of clinical trial participants struggle with travel, housing and food expenses. We Are Here matches patients to resources. The AI identifies and predicts resources to streamline access to thousands of options. This improves patient experience and outcomes while maximizing revenue for pharma and hospital systems. Excited to be on this journey to improve cancer care in the US along with the leadership at We Are Here Carolyn Treviño Jenkins Shea Mencel Alex Grishaver Chandra Ilindra
