💙 Why the NHS Needs Agencies to Keep Going 💙 The NHS is facing one of the most challenging times in its history. With rising demand for services, increasing staff shortages, and stretched resources, it’s clear that additional support is needed. That’s where agencies come in—and why they’re such an essential part of the healthcare system. Here’s why agencies are vital for the NHS: 🔹 Filling Staffing Gaps With high vacancy rates and overworked teams, agencies provide the NHS with qualified professionals who step in when needed most. They ensure shifts are covered, so patient care doesn’t suffer. 🔹 Rapid Response Healthcare needs don’t wait. Agencies can supply skilled workers at short notice, providing the flexibility to adapt to surges in demand or unexpected absences. 🔹 Specialist Expertise Many agency workers bring niche skills, such as intensive care, mental health, or emergency nursing. These specialists ensure patients get the high-quality care they need, even in the most complex cases. 🔹 Supporting Permanent Staff Overworked teams are at risk of burnout. Agencies help relieve the pressure, allowing permanent staff to focus on delivering excellent care while maintaining their own wellbeing. 🔹 Ensuring Continuity of Care Without agencies, many shifts would go unfilled, leading to delays in treatment and increased risks for patients. Agencies ensure consistent care, even during times of high demand. Agencies aren’t a long-term replacement for permanent recruitment—but they are a crucial partner in supporting the NHS when it needs it most. By working together, we can ensure patients receive the care they deserve, staff feel supported, and services remain sustainable. Let’s acknowledge the vital role agencies play in keeping our NHS running. They’re not the problem—they’re part of the solution. On that note: 📢 We’re Hiring ITU Nurses in Surrey! We’re looking for experienced ITU nurses to work day and night shifts in Surrey. To be eligible, you must have NHS UK experience. If you’re ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you! #SupportTheNHS #AgencyWorkforce #HealthcareStaffing #ICUNurses #NHSHeroes #SurreyJobs #Athona

nurse with going on 3 yr experience. Which is not bad. But some hospitals in rural places that mostly in red areas/conservative...areas, do not shortlist candidates that they deem to bed ,, of immigrant origin or "libs". Now most of the good nurses and care staff are honestly mostly immigrant. Asian, African, hispanic..etc. because they tend to complain less and work more. Also long hours and night shifts and holidays are no a problem and easy to fill. Because say, Thanksgiving weekend for example you find most hospitals are filled with immigrant employees because Thanksgiving is just another Thursday to them and doesn't mean shit to them. Service offered becomes consistent and reliable. This is why it is important to have a diverse employee roster despite your political affiliation. Business is business. These businesses end up using registry nurses which is by far more expensive.. they in practice reject capitalism. Problem these hospitals and facilities are so bent on hiring American.. not hiring legal workers...AMERICAN .. and to them American is white only and a few token blacks to make themselves think they are not racist. Now it means quality of care goes down. Those facilities are filled with inexperienced workers, nepotism workers and over entitled deeply political workers.. and worse, it is hard to get rid of them. They underperformed and expect overcompensation... if you fire them, they revert saying you were sent by the libs and maybe because this person is a family friend things get tight. So this is how these hospitals are being run to the ground..not to mention the number of times the name trump is mentioned in those places is nauseating. He lives rent free in their heads.. like I said I work registry sometimes and there are hospitals which I wouldn't step a foot in even with double pay. Even the patients are just horrible to work with. I have never heard an old lady before as for unvaxxed blood for transplant and "none of that n&gger, mexican or jew blood" ..like it's some kind of blood menu.

👨🏾⚕️ As a DNAP 👨🏾⚕️ and someone who has witnessed both sides of the issue through my recruiting firm, I can tell you it's more than just a numbers game. We are losing talented individuals to burnout and inadequate support systems at an alarming rate. We all decided to go into medicine because we genuinely like to care for others! I say there is a need for: 1. Improved Working Conditions From better staffing ratios to mental health support. 2. Competitive Compensation It's not just about $ but recognizing and valuing healthcare workers. 3. Opportunities for Growth Ongoing education, leadership roles, and career development pathways. The real question we must ask ourselves— how do we create a sustainable system where healthcare professionals thrive? Let me know your thoughts below! 👇 #Healthcare #WorkforceCrisis #Nursing #Anesthesia #HealthcareRecruitment

AUSTRALIA IS REGISTERING 5,000 NEW HEALTHCARE WORKERS EACH MONTH ! So why is there still a staffing healthcare crisis? Despite record numbers of doctors, nurses, and psychologists joining the country’s health system, with a 18 percent increase in registered health professionals since the COVID-19 pandemic, workforce issues persist. The raw numbers mask shortages in certain locations and categories, staff burnout, a rise in part-time work, and layers of red tape. Australian Health Workforce Growth: New Data New data from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) reveals an average of 5,270 new health practitioners registered each month since July 2022. This includes almost 3,000 new nurses and 700 new doctors each month, comprising both Australian graduates and internationally trained health workers. The total number of registered professionals in Australia has risen to 877,119, up from 744,437 in June 2019. This includes 453,515 nurses (up 18 percent since 2019), 136,742 doctors (up 15 percent), and 46,347 psychologists (up 20 percent). Australia’s workforce numbers compare favorably to other OECD nations, ranking sixth among wealthy countries for the number of nurses per 1,000 people and 13th for the number of doctors. “...It is awesome to see so many thousands of health practitioners not only wanting to come to OZtralia, but who are now passing all the necessary checks,” said CEO of OZemployment Wee-Oon..." "All these problems with major shortages are real. But it’s about the structure of the system and the way you manage it rather than the number of workers..." adds Wee-Oon Major Issues Contributing to the Staffing Crisis 1. Geographic Distribution: The first significant issue is the insufficient number of clinicians in areas that need them the most. There are big shortages in many rural and remote areas, but also parts of most cities. 2. Red Tape: Bureaucratic obstacles prevent health practitioners from working to their full potential. Nurses, for example, feel they could do more in terms of screening patients, conducting health checks, helping people manage their care regime, and treating issues such as wounds. "... We are not making the best use of their skills compared to other countries. Nurses and pharmacists do less than overseas, and there’s not as much administrative support for GPs as in other countries..." Wee-Oon noted. 3. Mismatch of Skills: There is a mismatch between the types of workers needed, such as nurse-midwives and psychiatrists, and those available. Additionally, the changing burden of disease in Australia adds to the complexity. 👩⚕️ Overcoming the Challenge of Finding Skilled Healthcare Professionals 👨⚕️ Advances in medical technology require specialized nurses, creating high demand. Burnout leads to high turnover, affecting workforce stability. Rural areas struggle more than urban centers to attract and retain qualified nurses, causing disparities in care quality and access. Partnering with reputable staffing agencies bridges the talent gap by providing access to pre-screened, qualified candidates. We efficiently recruit top talent, ensuring facilities maintain high care standards without lengthy hiring delays. For example, Magnus HRS placed more than 100 specialized nurses in one week, solving a client's months-long staffing problem. Great agencies leverage their contacts and resources to meet staffing needs quickly and effectively. We focus solely on solving this problem. Strategic partnerships and a commitment to a stable, qualified workforce are essential. We are here to help 😊 #Healthcare #Nursing #TalentAcquisition #WorkforceStability #HealthcareStaffing #Canada
