If your UGC campaigns don't work It might be because of this ⤵ I hear people saying things like: → UGC doesn't work → People don't trust social media → My product alone sells When, in reality: → UGC does work (and pretty darn good) → People use social media to make purchasing decisions → Real people using your product sells And, if you are a brand and find that UGC is not working for you... It's probably because you are not doing these things: 1. Setting a hook right at the beginning of your video to capture attention. 2. Allocating enough budget to UGC creators and advertising. 3. Using just ONE clear CTA. So, next time you think UGC doesn't work, try doing those 3 things. I guarantee you will see way better results! 🔮 🧙♂️✨ THE INSIGHTS REVEAL ALL✨ 🧙♂️ 🔮 If your enchanting content isn't bewitching the masses organically, peer into the crystal ball of its insights... there may be some SORCEROUS shenanigans unfolding!!! Recently, I dove head first into TikTok organic brand management, working with the VIRAL #TikTokShop! My biggest takeaway has actually been the elusive tactic of repurposing UGC content directly to the brand account. For a long time, brands solely relied on this for their TikTok #ContentStrategy. However, TikTok has gotten smarter and now detects unedited reposts of #UGC videos and may not feature them on the FYP due to unoriginality - limiting reach by a +1000%. I see potential value to this strategy AFTER platform establishment to get the #Organic sales vs. #Affiliate sales by tagging the product in the repost- BUT it's obviously NOT a viable strategy for launch phases...

I've recently been refining my UGC outreach strategy and have realised that simplicity is key. I think that a lot of new creators follow 'pitching tips' they see on social media, which a lot of the time suggest you should go into so much detail, when in reality brands don't have time to read essays. Think about how many pitches they receive a day. Now I focus on creating a straight to the point pitch that sounds like a HUMAN has written it. No more than a few key points and an idea for them, followed by a CTA. Keep it simple guys.

UGC makes me sad. 🥲 No, I don't mean the content itself. UGC—user-generated content—makes me very happy. I'm referring to the term. It's so... dead. So airless. So flat. Sorry, but who came up with this? The term does nothing to capture its spirit. Its essence. Think about it: People are literally showing up for your brand. Putting their faces on camera to talk about you. Your brand (or film or TV show or thing you put out into the world) has made them feel so moved, so *seen* that they want to pick up their phones, hit record, and tell everyone. That's wild. It's easy to forget, now that UGC has became professionalized thanks to affiliate links and ambassador programs and #sponsored and TikTok Shop and sophisticated operations that help brands create it at scale, that every single instance of organic UCG is a living, breathing mini miracle for your brand. So let's give it a term that captures that, shall we? We just crossed 2MM+ organic IG Reels views and are averaging 35k views per reel on a new account. Here's what we've learned: 1. Drive Engagement - Your comment section should look like the Shibuya Crossing (that Tokyo crosswalk you see in movies - learned that one today 😂 ). Shibuya Crossing comment section = good odds at virality. 2. Shareability - You want viewers to relate to your content. When it's relatable, viewers share with their friends. Our most viewed Reels have the highest share-to-view ratio. Sharable content drives virality on Reels. 3. Followers - Viral video views are top-of-funnel. If you want to nurture an audience and eventually convert them to a customer, know this - Views don't move the needle (for most) unless those viewers follow you. 👆 This mainly applies to higher-ticket offers, low-ticket offers can convert off one viral video (Think buying a wireless mic on TikTok Shop). So how do you drive followers from your content? Our videos that drove the most follows were either: Education or storytelling.
