𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟? 🎭 Once upon a time in Dresden+, Norman Nürnberger and I found ourselves grumbling about the lack of cybersecurity conferences in our beloved city. 🏙️ Instead of continuing to moan, we decided to 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and become part of the 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! 💡 -> That's how BSides Dresden was planted 🌱 🎉 Fast forward to last weekend, I'm so thankful and excited that our dream has become a reality! BSides Dresden is no longer just an idea, but a first serios step to the maturity of the #cybersecurity community in. 🔐 🤝 I would like to use the chance to also personally (even though still virtual...) thank to our incredible 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 who believed in our vision and helped to make this event possible. Without your support, we'd still be daydreaming! SAP and #SAPLabsDresden water IT Security & Defense SHD System-Haus-Dresden GmbH KPMG OffSec CTFbazaar 🌍 To our fellow #BSides organizations around the globe, thank you for your unwavering encouragement and for going the extra mile (literally Soya Aoyama came from BSides Tokyo to join us in Dresden). BSides Frankfurt with Alexander Georgiev and Hristiyan Lazarov, BSides Munich with Sandra Erceg 🎤 And let's not forget our amazing speakers who took a leap of faith and agreed to present at a completely new event! Bogdan Tiron Eduard Thamm Paul Zenker Andreas Rogge Jonas Schneidewind Adrian Tiron Hilko Bengen Markus Hupfauer Christoph Kemetmüller - All of you guys were 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠! 🚀 For me personally BSides Dresden is more than just a conference; it's a testament to the power of the cybersecurity community and its real face of collaboration! Thanks to Olli Tikka from Bugcrowd for stopping by too. Thank you Waseem Ajrab for being part of our event too! Thank you Sothyro Meas for coming also the long way from #Cambodia to Dresden! 😍 Also Vicky Sorge and Jan Gebhardt said they will come.. and guess what - they came and supported us! When people at Schwarz Gruppe say it, they mean it! At the door I was extremely surprised to see an old TU Darmstadt university friend Evgen Blohm also coming a long way to experience the atmosphere of our event. 🙏 And let's not forget all the other BSides Dresden people that volunteered... Thank you so much for organizing the conference. Hearing all the interesting talks and getting to do a little bit of networking has been great fun and well worth the trip to Dresden for me.
Really amazing event. Thank you for the opportunity and kudos to a great orga team
