"Look, we've sat down with our customers, we've got the intel, and we've got the solution. Time to get out there and start selling!" The Sales Leader at XYZ company was all revved up 🔥, ready to charge into a new customer segment like a runner at the starting line 🏁. But hold up—enthusiasm's great 😃, but it's not the whole story. It felt like being on the track with my sneakers tied 👟 and my playlist pumping 🎶, but I’m missing the map of the course 🗺️. "Hold that thought... 🤔" Without a solid sales strategy, without our message hitting the right note 🎵, without a playbook for prospecting—well, we're geared up with nowhere to go 🚫. That's when it hit me, something I've always known but gotta keep reminding myself: 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🛠️ - that game plan that sets the great apart from the good. So we took a breather , not because we weren't ready to run, but because we wanted to win.
