EvalYouth Asia’s Post

🎉5th Asia Pacific Winter School for Young and Emerging Evaluators🎉 Here comes the end of the 5th Asia Pacific Winter School and let us reflect on an extraordinary two-day journey filled with learning, innovation, and meaningful connections. Day 2 Highlights: ✔️ Gender Transformative Evaluation ✔️ Real-World Evaluation Case Studies ✔️ EvalPodcast: Meet the Expert ✔️ Methodology Mall – Group Activity This year, we experienced exceptional participation and engagement. From friendly competitions initiated by speakers and facilitators to thought-provoking discussions and questions, the energy was truly inspiring. After all the sessions, the final engagement, the ‘Methodology Mall’ session stole the spotlight! Participants formed six teams, each hosting interactive method booths, passionately presenting their assigned methodologies in a spirited competition. This dynamic marketplace of ideas fostered collaboration, creativity, and in-depth discussions with peers, YEEs, and expert evaluators alike. Together we witnessed how Young and Emerging Evaluators shine, inspire and drive change when given the platform. It has been an honor to host our second in-person Winter School. 💖 Heartfelt Thanks to:  Our incredible partners and supporters: UNFPA Independent Evaluation Office and UNFPA Asia and the Pacific, for creating an enabling environment for YEEs and demonstrating their commitment to the development of young evaluators and capacity building in the region. Asia Pacific Evaluation Association, for their continuous support for YEEs. Our local partner, The Institute for Participatory Interaction in Development (IPID), for all the arrangements in Colombo and dedication to youth development in the region. A special note of gratitude to our resource persons, who came with open hearts to generously share their expertise and legacy. Your contributions have been invaluable. Lastly, congratulations to all the participants who overcame various challenges to join us in Colombo. Your energy, enthusiasm, and insightful questions inspired us all. We hope this Winter School starts a lifelong journey of learning, sharing, and inspiring others in your communities. Carry the spirit of the Winter School forward, embrace your achievements, and be proud of yourselves. ✨ Until next time! ✨ #EvalYouth #EvalYouthAsia #EvalVisionAsia #WinterSchool #Monitoring #Evaluation #Impact #Learning #CareerDevelopment Sambodhi Research and Communications Pvt.
