Terrorist supporters become more brazen as they see timid law enforcement response and lack of legal consequences. Interrupting religious ceremonies is becoming a trend now, adding to the relentless attack on police officers and civilians alike on the streets of #newyork and other major cities. Deterrence, one of the key pillars of societal security, doesn't exist anymore. Holding law-breakers accountable for their actions is the only way society can ever protect itself against anarchy and terrorism. When illegal actions don't bear immediate and decisive consequences to the perpetrators, it sends a clear message to them and would-be criminals that this type of behavior is acceptable. Is it? Are we, as a society, willing to accept this as our new norm? Each of these #usefulidiots is also a potential asset to any FTO (Foreign Terrorist Organization) wishing to harm the US - and they are right here, right now, on our streets, being a clear and present danger to #publicsafety - just waiting for the opportunity to escalate their vile actions and harm more people. Some of them will aid and abet terror operators by giving them shelter, others by providing them with capabilities and intel on how they can best harm civilians and some will help them escape and hide after the fact. Many of them are illegally here, others are on student or asylum visas, the conditions of which they seem to be continually breaching.
