European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP)’s Post

Reflecting on the #ClustersMeetRegions event in Charleroi, Belgium! 🇧🇪🐓 On the 27th and 28th of November, this workshop brought together regions, clusters, and stakeholders across Europe to explore innovative collaboration and regional development strategies. 🗨️ "Clusters are the bridge builders across Europe, helping create new, more resilient value chains," emphasised Kuba Boratyński, Director of Networks and Governance at DG GROW. Organised by the #ECCP on behalf of the European Commission, EURADA - European Association of Development Agencies, and IGRETEC, the event highlighted Charleroi’s transformation from its industrial roots into a vibrant hub for cleantech, biotech, and advanced manufacturing innovation. 👉Read the full insights article on the #ECCP and learn more about upcoming ECCP events in 2025 ➡ https://lnkd.in/dCz2Zn_S

Dear all, "Clusters meet Regions’ Charleroi is over... On behalf of IGRETEC and Charleroi Métropole, I would like to express, to all the participants, our sincere thanks for the many positive feedback received. We are proud and delighted to have had the opportunity to organise a session of ‘Clusters meet regions’. And above all, that this 18th edition aroused your interest and met your expectations. This success was made possible thanks to the close and fruitful collaboration developed with the EURADA and ECCP teams. I would also like to highlight the motivation and professionalism of all the partners, moderators (with Isa Hoffman as ‘master of ceremonies’) and speakers involved. We remain available to transform the various contacts into concrete actions and projects. I would also like to encourage potential participants (EU regions, regional development agencies...) to submit their application to host one of the CMR session in 2025. It's really a highly motivating and interesting experience! We look forward to see you soon in Charleroi and working with you on future activities.
