Seoul-based firm Hogreen Air has introduced the world's first hydrogen-powered drone with an impressive 5,800-mile range at the H2 Mobility Energy Environment Technology (MEET) conference. This innovative UAV, designed for surveillance and reconnaissance, can fly for up to 14 hours and features advanced communication systems, including radio frequency and LTE/5G. Notably, it recently achieved remote operation from South Korea to Germany and the US. Astro Tech -- Big Props = Big Challenge For maximum flight time you want to run the largest props you can at their optimal RPM. Astro uses 21 inch props on a drone body that is only 55 inches tip-to-tip size. 96.2% of our total drone area is swept prop area. So why doesn't every drone use such large props? As you increase prop size it becomes more and more difficult to accelerate and decelerate the prop, ever notice how FPV drones use absurdly small props? They trade prop size / flight time for control bandwidth.
