In India last FY 2022-23 our domestic textile apparel market size was $125BN it means Rs Ten billion, four hundred thirty eight million, five hundred ninety seven thousand, seven hundred fifty only (Rs 10,43,85,97,750). Ever wondered what happens to all the clothes we discard? Let's break it down. Just one regular GSM t-shirt can take 5 to 6 months to decompose. Now, imagine the sheer volume of clothing we dispose of every year. If we assume each count represents a large number, say 1 lakh or more, the time it takes for all these clothes to decompose is staggering. And remember, this is just for one year! Now, think about the impact over a decade. It's truly eye-opening and sobering. Let's rethink our relationship with fashion and strive for more sustainable choices. 🌱 #SustainableFashion #ReduceReuseRecycle #Bworth #Bready #Bunique Dheeraj Anand Saurabh Jain Venkatesh Lakhani

#Silk prices in #China, especially for the benchmark 3A grade, have dropped significantly in the last four weeks, with a notable 5.5% decrease in the past week. This drop is mainly due to the anticipation of the upcoming #cocoon season. To make room for the new cocoons, companies are lowering prices on their current stock. However, despite this being the peak season, demand for silk within China remains disappointingly low, reflecting broader trends in the Chinese textile industry. In textile production, the ±5% rule is a standard tolerance range that allows for minor variations in measurements, weight, and quantity. This means slight deviations from the specified standards are acceptable, ensuring efficiency and flexibility without compromising quality. 🔎 It’s a practical approach in the industry, accommodating natural production variations while still meeting customer expectations. 🤗 #TextileIndustry #QualityControl #Efficiency #HRPTextileAgency #madeinportugal #Fashion #Apparelsourcing
