GERINGONÇA 2.0 - WHY NOT? Mr. President Costa, As a Luso-American, I extend my congratulations on your new position. A remarkable accomplishment for a such a petite but focused nation. Inspiring. Europe is at a crossing roads and I hope our Portuguese sense of direction - morals - will lead - guide you - to a more united, less dependent, democratic and robust Europe. You put Portugal on the map with your geringonça. While Asia is capturing the world's attention, the future can tilt back to Europe. Build new alliances with that dynamic part of the world like our ancestors did, and like they did, usher in a new global trade. Peace not war. Build new bridges. Deploy a geringonça 2.0. We still have our differences, but this is a moment for moving forward. Just learn from your past mistakes. They were whoppers. Be aware of enablers. As always, at your disposal, should I be of assistance from this side of the Atlantic. I am contemplating a run for the US Congress.
