EU-US trade The European Union and the United States have the largest bilateral trade and investment relationship and the most integrated economic relationship in the world. Together, they represent almost 30% of global #trade in goods and services and 43% of global #GDP. In 2023, transatlantic trade in goods and services exceeded €1.5 trillion.

Trade in Services is among the potential area for LDC and developing countries. With fast development in ICT, its makes trade in services even more easier and with reduced capital requirement. General Agreement on Trade in Services was last concluded in 1993. Since by that time Trade in Services was a very new area for LDC & Developing countries, their participation was minimal. Years later, with trade dynamics trade in services has continue to grow fast and contribute more to the economic growth for LDCs and Developing countries. Therefore new disciplines on services domestic regulation will streamline trade in Services and reduce red tapes in exporting services. This will allow simplified market access for service suppliers in new market. It is our duty now, to take advantage of all the preferences which are directed to LDCs from this agreement to enable our domestic service supplier to export services.
