@italiantechweek brought this on Instagram... very sadly interesting. Italy is a very reach country but is one of the worst cases of money not circulating well. my criticism about entrepreneurial ecosystem in Italy in general is: I believe it's better for Italy to focus on startups with Italian way of doing innovation; the lack of support is obvious but There's a sense of inferiority in academia in here that if you are not working on a "high-tech" themed project or startup, you stink... No matter how essential or beneficial your product can be for Italy. There is a reason calling it "ecosystem" one of them is that it should naturally evolve local and flexible to the environment of that ecosystem.
