As the Supreme Court calls for standardization of healthcare rates, hospitals maintain their own perspectives on the factors influencing these rates. Undoubtedly, I concur those considerations such as the quality of treatment, available facilities, and the expertise of medical professionals are pivotal. It is imperative to introduce interventions that comprehensively assess these factors to establish rates, ensuring that the policyholders can access treatment without undue financial concern. Emphasizing stress-free, high-quality healthcare is paramount, necessitating the implementation of robust systems to support this endeavor. #insurancenews #insuranceclaim #healthcare #healthinsurance #medicalaffairs #polifyx https://lnkd.in/ggkA8t7C

Aarogya Yan: A Lifeline for Rural Healthcare!! We believe that healthcare should reach every corner, especially in rural areas where access to medical treatment is a challenge. Our mobile medical van (Aarogya Yan) continues to serve villages, providing essential healthcare services to those who cannot afford to travel to distant hospitals. From treating common ailments like fever, cough, cold, and injuries, to routine check-ups for blood pressure and sugar levels, we are making healthcare accessible where it's needed the most. In just 8 months, our dedicated team of doctors and nurses has treated over 10,000 patients across 70+ villages since April 2024, spreading awareness about health and prevention along the way. The need for primary healthcare in rural areas is immense. Many villagers have to walk miles to access even the simplest medicines or a basic consultation. Aarogya Yan bridges this gap, bringing medical care right to their doorstep. We are seeking support to expand our reach, ensure we can visit more villages daily, and continue offering the best possible primary healthcare. Your support can help make a lasting impact on thousands of lives. #SrijanRuralHealthcare #RuralHealth #PrimaryHealthcare #MobileMedicalVan #CommunityHealth #HealthcareForAll #RuralDevelopment #HealthAwareness #SwasthBharatInitiative #HealthcareInRuralIndia

GPs often and justifiably use the argument that, if there aren’t enough GPs, hospital emergency departments will be overrun by patients who do not need to be there at a huge cost to the public purse. However, it seems that some governments are working on a viable counter-argument. Victorian Government funding of a 24/7 Virtual Emergency Department is paying dividends – helping an estimated 256,000 patients, the service helped 86% avoid unnecessary trip to hospitals by providing assessment, advice, treatment and referrals. Additional funding will grow the VVED capacity to be able to assist 1000 patients a day across Victoria. Another ‘Code Yellow’ has been called for the Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospital. The Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospital is experiencing a peak in demand due to an increase in patient occupancy, combined with ongoing staffing pressures. Today’s ‘Code Yellow’ comes on top of a further fifteen ‘Code Yellows’ at the Royal Darwin Hospital over the last couple of years with shut-downs in February 2021, August 2021, two in September 2021, February 2022, August 2022, November 2022, March 2023, May 2023, June 2023, two in August 2023, September 2023, October 2023, and again in March 2024. The Chief Minister’s performance is nothing short of a disgrace! On top of this, the Chief Minister has ignored the urgent need for renal dialysis facilities in Elliott, Canteen Creek, and in Ti Tree, while additional chairs and beds are needed at Tennant Creek, Borroloola, Ali Curung and in Alpurrurulam. Chief Minister, the NT Health system is in crisis! It is time to stop the chaos and dysfunction and start delivering for all Territorians. #BoundlessIncompetence

Surveys indicate that over 80% of elderly patients prefer home care, which is 25-30% cheaper than hospitalization. In-home care enhances family involvement, reduces infection risks, and ensures high satisfaction through remote monitoring, improving overall quality of life.
