How AI Can Address Critical Challenges Facing Higher Education The integration of AI into higher education raises concerns about its ethical use, including data privacy, security and the potential for bias in algorithms. While AI has the ability to enhance personalized learning experiences, there are concerns about the quality of education delivered through AI-driven platforms. Additionally, faculty members might encounter a learning curve as they integrate AI into their instructional approaches, while the fear of increased plagiarism by students is a valid concern. Read on where EdSurge spoke with Bruce Dahlgren about the power of AI in higher education. #highereducation #ai #technology #edtech #ethics

I’m thrilled to announce the publication of our latest article on a topic that’s becoming increasingly important in today’s digital education landscape: Academic Integrity in the Age of AI. In our exploration, we dive into how emerging technologies are transforming the way we assess student knowledge and ensure academic honesty in online learning. The key solution we highlight is our novel tool, the AI Viva Exam — a live, AI-driven assessment that engages students in dynamic, conversation-based evaluations. What’s most exciting? Our pilot results are promising and the potential for scalability in addressing online academic dishonesty is huge. This work is just the beginning. We continue working on future iterations that will integrate audio and video, creating an even more immersive and rigorous experience for students. Huge shoutout to Dr. Alexandra Urban, Chi Wang, Jessica Pelletier and the whole team who helped support this pilot. 🔗 Check out the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gTRX4xeJ
