The Eastsports World Cup is the place where the best gamers across all disciplines have the chance to come together. If you look at the history of games, the oldest, most important game of all time was still missing. The addition of chess is a super important step to have all the best games in the Esports World Cup. I think chess is perfectly suited for this format. I love having a bit of a hybrid of over the board, live events with computers and a live audience. It is purely a skill-based game where you can test yourself against your opponent. There are no excuses if you win or lose. You will see in faster games there will be a lot of swings, fast-paced actions, so I'm really excited for us to be part of it this year. Hopefully, it's the start of something big.
