Saturday night's game at Fifth Third Stadium was a true celebration of community and spirit! The stands were packed for Kennesaw State's first home game as part of the FBS. Check out some of the highlights in the video below.
Some things were just Born to be Cool! Beginning with the successful contract bid in June 1946, the B-52 "Stratofortress" moniker is rarely used; informally, this aircraft is more commonly referred to as simply the "BUFF" (Big Ugly Fat F____ (...Fella).
The B-52A first flew in 1954. A total of 744 B-52s were built, with the last, a B-52H, delivered in October 1962. It's sixty-two years old today.... thank you MAINTENANCE!
During Desert Storm, B-52s delivered 40 percent of all the weapons dropped by coalition forces. Today, Pilots wear night vision goggles to enhance their vision during night operations. The longest distance flown for a combat mission involving a 34-hour, 16,000-statute-mile round trip from Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. The Air Force currently expects to operate B-52s through 2050.
It is unparalleled in All of Aviation, and is on track to become the first and potentially Ever(!), Centurion. Current Active force inventory, 58 (test, 4); ANG, 0; Reserve, 18. I give you, the B-52 BUFF!
Question:
Dear #AskMrNIRPerson, how does Thanksgiving football relate to NIR?
Answer:
Ah, Thanksgiving football—a day where the Lions and Cowboys dominate the screen. The Cowboys, long known as "America's Team," represent the traditional heavyweights, much like wet chemistry. Reliable, time-tested, but, let’s be honest, a little slow to adapt to modern needs.
This year, though, the Lions are stepping up. They're scrappy, fast, and efficient—remind you of anything? That’s right, #NIR. Just like the Lions, NIR takes a different approach: rapid results, versatile performance, and a growing fan base of believers.
So while the Cowboys might still have their fans (and wet chem will always have its place), this Thanksgiving feels like a passing of the torch—a recognition that new methods can lead to big wins. Whether you’re cheering for Detroit or calibrating your instrument, it’s a good day to embrace the underdog with something to prove.
Caitlin Clark loved UConn growing up.
She thought she would go there.
She idolized Maya Moore.
But Geno Auriemma never called her.
Last night, she took down her dream school to send her home school to the National Championship.

What If Every Veteran Had an AI-Powered Guide Home? Discover How VETLIFE and Battle Buddy Are Using AI to Transform the Journey from Service to Civilian Success.
Long-Term and Immediate Community Economic Impact of VETLIFE Programs
Immediate Economic Impact:
Increased Benefit Utilization: By helping veterans access their entitled benefits through the Battle Buddy app and discharge upgrade program, VETLIFE immediately injects more financial resources into the community. This can lead to increased consumer spending, which boosts local businesses and services.
Job Placement and Training: Through various support programs, VETLIFE assists veterans in finding employment and acquiring new skills, which helps reduce unemployment rates and increases household incomes in the short term.
Long-Term Economic Impact:
Sustainable Employment: By providing veterans with access to job training and placement services, VETLIFE contributes to long-term economic stability for veterans and their families, reducing reliance on public assistance and increasing tax revenues.
Community Investment: As veterans become more financially stable, they are more likely to invest in their communities, through home purchases, business startups, and other forms of local investment, leading to sustained economic growth.
Enhanced Public Services: With more veterans accessing benefits, there is an increased flow of federal funds into the state. This can lead to improvements in local infrastructure, healthcare, and other public services, benefiting the wider community.
Increased Civic Engagement: Veterans who feel supported and valued are more likely to participate in community activities and volunteer work, strengthening community bonds and fostering a culture of mutual support and cooperation.
Collaboration with Local Organizations:
VETLIFE works closely with other non-profits, government agencies, and veteran organizations to provide comprehensive support to veterans. This collaboration ensures that efforts are not duplicated and resources are used efficiently.
The Battle Buddy app is central to VETLIFE’s mission, providing a streamlined platform for veterans to access benefits, services, and community resources. This initiative ties into broader community efforts by:
Centralizing Resources: Serving as a single touchpoint for various veteran services, making it easier for veterans to find and use available resources.
Enhancing Communication: Facilitating better communication between veterans, service providers, and support organizations, ensuring that veterans' needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Supporting Data-Driven Decisions: Collecting data on unmet needs and service utilization helps VETLIFE and partner organizations to identify gaps and improve service delivery, ultimately benefiting the entire community.
Through these comprehensive efforts, VETLIFE not only supports individual veterans but also contributes to the overall economic and social well-being of communities across Michigan.
