A lot of people are talking about expanding the NCAA tournament field. A big reason college football is so popular is that every game of the season matters towards who competes for the championship. The easier you make it for teams to compete in March Madness, the less the regular season matters. I get that more games equal more revenue, but it would be nice to see college basketball look at an in-season tournament concept like the National Basketball Association (NBA). As it currently stands, the selection committee is comparing leagues based on non-conference play that occurs prior to a lot of teams rounding into their best form. If there were a series of in-season cross-conference tournaments in January, it might create the added revenue the schools are hoping for while also giving the selection committee a better view of who the strongest leagues and teams are when it comes time to select for March Madness. I’m sure the television companies wouldn’t mind the added viewers during the regular season either…

We are looking for sponsors for our 2024-25 basketball season website. We cover 47 schools and 93 teams (Temple Christian only has boys). We provide score on our home page and on Ohio City's Pride, Our website features a schedule for each team that includes: Date, Opponent, Score, Location, Type, W/L, Percentage, Point Per Game (PPG) and Average, Points Allowed (PA) and Average, along with current standing. We also provide stats under our "Lima Area" section for Lima Senior, Perry, and Temple Christian. As you may know, we enter all team (boys and girls) data by hand only using our team forms and a calculator. This is very time consuming. We have always offered affordable advertising on our website and we plan on doing the same, but prices have increased. What are the Educational, Health, or Economic Benefits to these Players and their Families for that kids uncompensated participation in any additional “NON-SCHOLARSHIP” private third-party postseason football games that pay the Universities and the Conferences for the use of their free labor to put on these highly profitable Bowl events. The answer is ZERO! These additional 1-5 POSTSEASON games are also above the Players’ 12 game athletic scholarship agreement? Our Proposal offers Major Benefits in all three Categories to the Players and their Families! Scholarship Football Players are owed Hundreds of Millions of dollars from this year’s Media contract that uses these Players’ Name, Image, and Likeness NIL without any equitable financial consideration to the Players or their Families! This lost Money could have a major impact on these Players lives, the lives of their current and future family members for generations?
