Update from the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (#PPWR). On March 4th the Council and the Parliament reached a provisional political agreement. The main elements are: - Focus on sustainability with minimum targets of recycling content in plastic packaging - targets for re-use and - focusing on the reduction of waste by implenting return systems and restriction of certain packaging formats. We need the regulators to set the standards, with BSI ISO Guidelines in place for transition to Net Zero there is a fully certifiable standard that can help companies of all shapes, sizes and jurisdictions achieve their own credible path the Net Zero.
