In Q3 2024, AI startups raised $11.8 billion, capturing 30% of all venture capital funding despite a tough market. This highlights just how crucial investment intelligence is for early-stage startups to connect with the right investors. At Platvix, we’re tackling the complexity of this space by developing an intelligent platform powered by LLMs and data analytics. The challenge isn’t just gathering data—it’s decoding the intricate layers that shape investment decisions. How do we surface the right signals from a sea of information?... By building an ecosystem that understands these layers and tailors insights for different users—whether it's a startup preparing for a pitch or an investor seeking the next big opportunity. This is what we’re striving for now: a smarter way to access and realise the key data that drives funding success. Stay tuned for updates! 📢 A friend's startup <Blobfish AI> launched on Product Hunt 🎉 🖱️☑️Let's upvote & comment to help her reach 1000 votes in 24 hours! Upvote here ➡ https://lnkd.in/gMeufSf5 [Message from the founders] Hi Friends and Family 👋🏼 We built Boblfish AI to solve the fundraising challenges we faced ourselves and the common problems experienced by over 50+ founders we talked to. Existing gaps: - Public investor databases need manual filtering and deeper research to find the right match. (Alignment in investment thesis, vertical, industry, founder profiles, business model, and round size.) - Founders spend hours with investors only to find out that the investor’s fund is EOL and does not have any more allocation for new investments. - Writing personalized outreach emails is time-consuming and error-prone. How we solve them with AI: -> Analyze over 1M investor websites and select the investors who are best matched with your startup’s thesis. -> Provide reasons for each ranking based on investment thesis, round size, location, industry, vertical, competitor in portfolio, and customer in portfolio. -> Draft tailored emails showcasing how your startup fits each investor’s investment thesis and increases their portfolio value. We're in the early stages and eager to test different theses that can help founders get more VC meetings. We'd love for you to try our MVP and share your thoughts. Thank you! Cheers, Samuel Chien & Angel Lin #startup #tech #Entrepreneur #Launch #Founder #AI #investor #VC #Fundraising

Reflecting on STEP SF: The Future of AI and Venture Capital I had the privilege of attending the STEP SF conference, which brought together some of the brightest minds in AI technology and venture capital. It was an eye-opening experience that left me excited for what’s coming next in both fields. The discussions around AI technology were both fascinating and forward-looking. From breakthroughs in machine learning to the ethical considerations surrounding AI deployment, it’s clear that we’re at a pivotal moment. The innovations I saw are set to transform industries in ways we can only begin to imagine. On the venture capital side, it was equally interesting to see how VCs are approaching this rapid evolution. The focus seems to be shifting toward more strategic, long-term investments rather than quick wins. There’s a growing recognition that sustainable AI development requires patient capital and an understanding of the tech’s potential and limitations. @stepsfpresents
