🌵 Desert Survival Simulation Experience at NIT Rourkela 🌵 I had the unique opportunity to participate in a Desert Survival session as part of the Individual and Group Behaviour in Organization (IGBO) Lab at School of Management, NIT Rourkela , facilitated by Biswajit Behera Sir. This insightful experience tested our problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills under extreme survival scenarios. Key Takeaways: 1. Prioritization is Crucial: In critical situations, understanding how to prioritize resources and decisions can be the difference between success and failure. 2. Collaboration Over Competition: Working effectively with a team, even under pressure, is key to maximizing survival chances. 3. Diverse Perspectives Matter: The exercise emphasized how different viewpoints within a group lead to better outcomes by considering all aspects of a challenge. 4. We are delighted to introduce IMAS Group's new Chief Technology Officer, Hedvig Elevant! What will your responsibilities be at IMAS? I will be focusing on technology, including the further development and innovation of our products, as well as ensuring the maintenance of secure and stable operations. What drew you to joining a company that gathers footfall data? After many years in the logistics industry, this represents a completely new and exciting field for me with enormous potential. Upon learning about the company and its products, it became an obvious choice to join IMAS as I see the importance of data-driven decision-making for anyone dealing with visitors. Additionally, IMAS is an established company with a wealth of highly competent experts in this field. How do you plan to foster innovation within IMAS Group? I aim to leverage the knowledge and ideas within the company, while also contributing my experience from other industries. I want to encourage collaboration across teams and borders, and to continue our internal innovation efforts while remaining attentive to our customers' needs. And finally, what do you enjoy doing outside of work? I enjoy spending time with family and friends and being in the Stockholm archipelago.
