Take a minute and read this post from Lance. The intersection of insurance, business and technology is SO important. The missing link in my opinion is the access to this knowledge/insight for the community of Agents/Brokers in the U.S. The 'services vendors' provide that glue. Services Vendors provide the advisory/consulting and depth in insurance business processes that can deliver real value. With the service vendors focused on carriers or large agencies/brokerages.... Question: How do smaller agents/brokers gain the same level of insights and access to technology & care, when they are not in a financial place to do so? Answer: LinkedIn & [enter your fav influencer]. The amount of information share on this platform holds many answers. Finding that 'network' that can open doors (with answers). It was great to see how #ITCVegas established a focus on 'Agents,' illustrating this exact need/point! The inclusivity of the agent/broker community, has been long overdue and I'm happy to see that in my lifetime. So many people on this platform hold this level of depth (beyond what they offer from their company/capability) and are willing to engage & support. #HereToHelp. Learned recently the importance of understanding insurance, business AND technology It’s crucial to understand all of these in unison, because they all blend together as equal parts We’ve heard so many times that agencies know they need tech, they just don’t know enough about it to feel confident going for it And we’ve heard that insurtechs don’t know enough about insurance to bridge that gap That’s why I’ve yelled from the rooftops for MONTHS that you need to relate what you do to how people will use you to make their lives easier Nobody cares about your bells and whistles. What processes do you make better? How do you make business run better? Focus on that, and everybody wins #DataSpartan⚔️ always delivers
Such a relevant discussion on the intersection of insurance, business, and technology! Access to insights and resources for smaller agents and brokers is indeed crucial. It’s inspiring to see the community come together to share knowledge and support one another. What do you think are some effective ways for smaller agencies to leverage this network further?
The "here to help" hashtag is so true! We are so much better if we collaborate. Many times posts on social media are the doorway to open those conversations. When I was new here, so many people offered to answer my questions and it opened my eyes around how willing people were to talk about their wants, needs and dreams.
🚀🚀🚀🚀 so important to keep the network alive and doors open. I believe in the power of sharing knowledge, continuous learning, and growth. #inspiring
I was loving the curated programs at #ITCVegas this year to cater to all the many stakeholders in the insurance ecosystem! Always #heretohelp and be the glue to piece together business process, technology and insurance. Sharing is caring and collaboration together we are always stronger. 🙏🏻💪🏼❤️👏🏻
Love this! It’s also important to find technologies truly developed to help small/medium/independents compete with the megas!
Eric Fenton law of abundance vs law of scarcity. I know many of the people you listed on a personal level. Those that share and understand they can give more over taking. Those leaders listed will leave the industry we all love much better!
I try to educate so when they are ready to buy, I am there.
I am so happy that InsureTech Connect included the Agent Brokers. I highly recommend that all Agent Brokers attend #ITCVEGAS2025
No one cares about the bells and whistles. Love that point and 100 percent agree!

1moThis is why I’ve been campaigning forever that insurance professionals NEED to be overproducing social content There’s so much goodness in your heads but you’re being selfish and keeping it to yourselves. WE WANT TO HEAR IT
