It’s been a month since I started a little morning ritual for myself: kids off to school, time for exercise, a creative and healthy breakfast, 5 minutes of meditation, and a moment to write.
It’s my way of grounding myself, reflecting, and reconnecting with why I do what I do.
When you’re building something unique—something not mainstream—it can feel lonely at times.
There are so many questions, challenges, and moments of doubt. But then, inspiration sparks in unexpected places.
This morning, I came across a post by Flaminia Buda about SLOW Growth, and it stopped me in my tracks. It reminded me why I’m so passionate about creating slow, intentional celebrations—weddings that aren’t about rushing through timelines or extravagant showpieces, but about meaningful connections, sustainability, and savoring every moment.
For me, a slow wedding isn’t just a theme—it’s a mindset.
It’s about:
🌿 Choosing a venue that feels grounded and aligns with your values.
🥗 Designing a menu that celebrates local, seasonal ingredients and supports farmers.
🕊️ Simplifying the day so there’s room to breathe, connect, and enjoy every moment.
🍃 Using nature as inspiration, from eco-friendly décor to meaningful, handmade touches.
This isn’t about doing less—it’s about doing what matters most.
A slow wedding is a chance to celebrate love & life in a way that respects the earth and the people you care about.
Every day, I ask myself: How can I bring more of this slowness into the celebrations I plan? How can I inspire others to embrace it too?
What does “slow” mean to you in your life or celebrations? Let’s spark a conversation. 💭
PS: A true highlight at every wedding I host: This organic beetroot terrine with almond spread, topped with edible flowers. Not only is it a feast for the eyes, but it’s also a celebration of vibrant, organic, plant-based flavors that nourish. 🌸🌱
